What if you kill the asylum demon then quit out right as you kill him, this makes the game think the boss is dead when he actually isnt, that means you kill him more than once, doing this, you get 3000 souls every time, you should choose sorcerer or pyromancer though to make the glitch work
@@michaelpopup you could also choose black firebombs as your gift then dupe some of the souls with it (im pretty sure this glitch only works on Xbox or Ps4)
I assumed MuhDryBread rules. No Glitches or Exploits, no items in combat, and you can only use Sorcerer. As you can see from its stats, this is gonna take FOREVER
It would be neat to see if one could create an ai that could repeatedly replicate a perfect run in a sped-up version of the game, making the process hands-off and much much faster

I feel like it would be quicker to just soul arrow the closest enemies and then run back to the bonfire. Going to longsword guy takes so much time in running.

@@hex_gekko29568 what closest enemies? there's the two (maybe three? I forget) enemies back down from the ladder but that would probably be a worse way to gain money. There's the one on the stairs but doing a run for only 20 souls wouldn't be very efficient, at that point might as well run to the three hollows just an alley ahead and once you kill them, why not just take an extra 10 seconds and kill the sword guy who gives you as many souls as all 4 previous enemies combined.
The Longshore guy doubles the soul gain for hardly any time loss. You would have to be able to kill the stair hollow more than 8 times in under a minute which i don't think you can do.
I actually believe someone will do this challenge. In like 200 years when we achieve immortality and that kind of stuff someone will do this to get some serious clout!
When you finish you playtrugh your repair box and upgrade box are removed so in the assylum you won't have them. but you could attune repair sorcery and keep your upgraded weapons repaired indefinitelly

If immortality is ever achieved, then grinding to max level in Dark Souls will probably be someone's pet project after living for 6000 years and not having anything better to do.

Feno, I can't find the comment that you replied to me just now, so I'm just gonna write a new comment. Yes, indeed, 18.29 / 0.33 is 55.42, but it's my fault as I wasn't explaining it right. This is not an accurate answer because when you do this, you leave 0.01 out because 0.33 + 0.33 + 0.33 = 0.99. This gives you a close answer in little numbers, although not an accurate one, and you can see this when reaching high results like the big difference between 54.87 and 55.42. What you should have done is this: 18.29 / 0.3333333333333333 to get a more accurate result. Or you know, just multiply by 3 which gives you the most accurate result. Just a nitpick, loved the video Feno! :)

If you did it at NG+6, then you probably will already have finished many levels in the process of getting there. You'd also have a silver serpent ring to boost exp/souls.

Also, if you consider the 7th playthrough to be NG+6, then you’re using a 0 index and thus must consider either the second playthrough as NG+1, or you consider it NG+ and then the third playthrough is NG+2 (which I don’t hate, but it’s still confusing - not everyone will properly read it correctly as “the second new game plus”). It doesn’t surprise me that people like to jump to NG+3 after NG+; they’re putting the playthrough integer directly into it; no mental math required. The simplest way would be to ditch the distinction between NG and NG+, and just call it NG, then 2nd Playthrough, then 3rd Playthrough, etc.
I imagine one day someone will write a bot to actually do that especially if they can find a way to speed the game up for it significantly but the closest thing I could feasibly do is write a macros to farm the wyvern bridge and run that for a year straight and even then I'd also have to go through the contortion of emulating the console version of the game just to be able to speed up the emulator to speed up the game so I'd actually be done within a year of running in the background
As I stated on the other video as well: You should have done the math with the longssword instead of the dagger because thats what you will end up using and its a little faster.
