    The Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest) is located in the Berchtesgaden Alps in southern Bavaria, Germany, near the border with Austria. It sits atop the Kehlstein Mountain, which rises about 1,834 meters (6,017 feet) above sea level. The Eagle's Nest offers panoramic views of the surrounding alpine region, including Berchtesgaden National Park and nearby Salzburg, Austria.
    Historically, it was built as a gift for Adolf Hitler's 50th birthday, but today it's a popular tourist destination known for its stunning scenery and historical significance.
