I love the fact his character design was based more on folklore than the modern vampire design. I wish they kept his whiten pupils like they had it in one particular shot of the film. Also this design is nowhere as creepy as the original 1922 version. Even though the make up on that film is over 103 years old, it still holds up and part of what made it so scary was the eyes of the original Orlock. It was the crazed unblinking eyes that look like the eyes of a dead man that creeped me out the most. To me certain shots of Bill as Orlock in this film just make him look like an old dude. He’s certainly terrifying in many of the shots, but it was those few such as this scene where he just looked like an old Russian patriarch that took me out of it.
I felt kind of the same, though not as strongly, I wish they'd kept his milky eyes from the end for the whole movie
I was thinking that some contacts would have gone a long way in a couple of scenes but while thinking about this I remembered that in certain lighting, his eyes appear very milky/hazy and glossed over as if he is a corpse. Very interesting design to say the least.
Would be cool if the white membrane showed when he blinks
He is trying to still look like a man, not a monster.
This movie was freaky af 😭 loved it tho!
Já quero ver o vídeo do processo de maquiagem
Looks like Rasputin from Hellboy
Do you have the final scene where Orlock bites Ellen ?
He’s so hot.

Court Orlak has moustache???
So did Count Dracula in the novel. Also transylvanian nobles of time orlock was human, mustaches like that were very common. In fact Vlad Tepish had a mustache like that.
The story is real from Count Dracula who’s heart is real
I can’t feel scare if everytime he appears I get the feeling Nosferatu is going to play some rancheras
Homie was a Wet Vac. Lustful Wet Vac. Best interpretation since Leslie😅
