I've listened to Woodkid for YEARS, and learning he made a song for Arcane was quite honestly the final nail of many that caused me to decide "I _need_ to watch this show." And it has been absolutely worth more than I even thought.
This sounds like it should be at the beginning of a James Bond movie, instead it’s part of an amazing soundtrack from an astonishingly good animated show on Netflix.
It's interesting that you're mentioning Bond, because I thought of it while watching a scene that occurred in the previous episode, when Mel and Jayce kiss and a drop of Viktor's blood enters the arcane : the visuals of this scene look like a JB opening credits.
I thought the same exact thing lmao. It's such a James Bonde song and reminds me a lot of Spectre by Radiohead, which is a song they made for a James Bond movie but it wasn't picked. Both songs are incredible and I listen to them RELIGIOUSLY LOL
I encourage everyone to get into Woodkids music it's all this good. Whenever you're in the mood for some epic orchestral stuff and good lyrics just check out his stuff. He's been one of my favorite artists since a friend showed me his music back in 2013, please go show him love I'm sooo glad he's continuously getting more recognition.

This is my 2nd favorite in the soundtrack, but the final episode has my definite favorite (especially in the context of the show)
