@@doctro1630 league is one of the most played games it's obviously not bad it just draws in a certain audience just like chess and card games. I'm in love with leagues universe based on arcane and just the games visuals and strategies
Such a Devastating song... the most heartbreaking part is "Why dont you love who I am? What we could have been". It's like the whole song is "we have reached the point of no return"
@@crownfamilycinema8249 omg it is a fabulous tragedy and this song plus many others line up so well in certain scenes. The lyrics are very on-point too for certain characters.
They have a lot of money to throw around to make CGI music videos for KDA, so it's no surprise to me that they could offer enough to enduce Sting to collaborate.
it's so impressive how perfect this song is, it fits the message of the shows last scenes so much, it hits so powerfuly everyone can relate their pain to it
we'll show them all was right before the so,ng "goodbye"... but sure, the last sequence of the finale is certainly Jinx showing them. It's the perfect payoff to the cycle of neglect, abuse and retaliation presented in the show.
I believe this song is the perfect counterpunch to "Goodbye" from episode 3. I feel like "Goodbye", though pointed at the audience to tell us to say goodbye to everything in this show as we knew it, is a prelude to Vi getting out of jail and finding her whole world different. It's foreshadowing to what Vi and her sister's relationship will become. "Oh, my enemy, how could I have ever let you down?" "What could have been" is like a response from Jinx. "I want you to know we had everything, but you broke me..." It's so tragic.
It's just impossible for me to not to cry with Sting's voice and the violin solo in this song, Jesus it was such a hearbraking scene and it just keeps throwing Jinx story back to my mind, wonderful..
The song is so emotional, the lyrics are beautiful. But the scene it was played alongwith during the finale amplifies the emotions 1000fold. Specially just as the rocket hit the council building window and the finals words are played out "What could have been" What could have been if the rocket didn't hit. Peace, the thing Vander and Silco fought for realized finally. What could have been. Just beautiful.
I hope you watched the TV show. These songs were written for certain moments in the show, so without the full context, it doesn't have the same impact. Sting is an incredible artist. Only he could anchor the final moments of the season.
This song was so touching. When I was writing my first book it actually inspired me to write a selective character that fit this dynamic. It can easily bring you to tears due to how sad, but honest the song is.
Such an emotional song. The way the build up that final scene with this song is just some of the best score work I've ever seen in a series or a movie.
Already a massive Arcane fan, and watched videos of this song over and over (I recommend checking out the live performance at The Game Awards). Absolutely loved your reaction. You felt it just as it is intended.
I think shes talking to vi, at the beginning of the song it says "I am the monster you created" and in one of the scenes at the tea party, jinx told Vi "Silco thinks he created jinx, but he didn't make jinx, you did"
@@bluebay1031 The reason it's a bad idea is because of how well they suit the scenes that they are in. They fit so well that it's pretty much a spoiler for the show.
I usually can’t stand when there is licensed music instead of OST’s in shows/movies but with arcane (and spiderverse) the songs are written so perfectly for the show that I absolutely love it. Arcane is definitely the best thing to come out this year in terms of animation. Beat a lot of live action stuff too. Dune still wins tho 💯

At the end of the season of the series, this song made everyone cry from all over the world who watched Arcane, including me.

Here from Germany and i cried as well, because it was so beautiful and sad at the same time

I don't think I ever cried so hard in my life. I was a mess at the end.
still crazy how they got sting to sing in the soundtrack
Right?? All these artists
Ray chen too! He's a simply fantastic violinist, and as a violinist I have nothing but respect for him.
Lol is my favorite game and Sting is my favorite author. When this songs kicked in in the series if was literally shocked. I mean WTF?!?! Sting

“why don’t you love who i am, what we could have been?”
i don’t think any lyric hurt me as much as this one ever
Sting is an old timer musician, he was really really big in the 1980s. Nice to see him have a comeback.
He also sang the key theme of Disney Tarzan.
I don’t think his fame ever died, he just started doing smaller things, dude is just a musical genius :)

The base violins necessary for change.
The scene that played with this song, during the episode, just crushed my goddamn soul.

Finaly somone who appriciate the art of the music who dosen't talk over half of the song and just enjoy the art of the music. Love it

He needs to react to the live version sting did at the game awards

This song made me ugly cry first time I heard it. Had no clue it was from a cartoon.
Cool respectful reaction to a masterpiece of a song!
99% of anything Arcane-related hit the mark, big time.
I can't tell if this is Jinx talking to Vi or Silco, I think it is both. Which is beautiful.
watch Makos video on it! hes the co-composer and talks in depth about it
Or herself?
I think shes talking to vi, at the beginning of the song it says "I am the monster you created" and in one of the scenes at the tea party, jinx told Vi "Silco thinks he created jinx, but he didn't make jinx, you did"
dude. If you were listening to this song before watching ep9 you just ruined the climax of the season finale for yourself.

That's not a vocal effect how you think, good brother...That's Sting! Been doing it 30 years b4 autotune was pop.
