  • Here's the next addition to my list of games for making easy, fast money. A couple years ago, I did a video on how to do career mode races with custom race settings. If you haven't seen that already, It'd be a good idea to watch that first as you'll be using this tactic here. I'll leave a link to it at the bottom. This is basically an end-game money making method as the races from higher ranked blacklist racers pay more & more money as you work your way up towards the top of the blacklist. With the highest paying races available from the number 1 blacklist racer giving $25K per win. The event in particular for this fast money method is the 3 lap knockout race "Smuggler's Wharf." Go to quick race mode first and set the race up with the custom settings set to how you'll want the race in career mode to be like afterwards. Mainly the number of laps & traffic as they're the only 2 factors that will carry over to the career mode race. In this case you can't pick the number of laps so just select the number of opponents as 1 to force the event to drop to 1 lap, and of course turn traffic off.
Once you've confirmed them and are on the car selection screen, you can back out and go back to career mode to start grinding. I actually did the quick race here first, but to save time you don't have to. Considering I posted that tutorial back in 2021, my memory of what to do was a little hazy so I accidentally made this video about 2 minutes longer than it needed to be. Both of these factors will make your life much easier as now the normally 3 lap event is just 1 lap and you'll have no traffic to screw you over. You'll still have 3 AI's to contend with though. With the event now only being 1 lap, this makes it the fastest event to complete among the 11 highest paying events in the game. On a mistake free run the race can be completed in about 90 seconds. And there's a side route the AI's will almost always take at about the minute mark into the lap that almost always screws them over as it contains a pursuit speed breaker that they'll always run through which usually collapses on top of their cars before they can clear it, stopping them dead or slowing them down heavily. As long as you stick to the main road, you'll be fine.
As you repeat the race over & over, it'll get easier as you get into a rhythm. This race also has a minimum cop probability so they won’t show up mid-race to interrupt you while on the grind. It's important to note, as I demonstrated at the end, that when you go to start the race again, you have to do it from the blacklist menu in the safehouse to maintain the custom race settings. If you do it from the blacklist menu in free roam, the race's default settings will be reapplied. Making $25K every 2 minutes or so, give or take, counting the time it'll take to load back to your safehouse, and reload the race again from there, you can reasonably expect to make about $750K per hour from this, maybe more. If you’re not far enough into the game to access this event, here is the best alternative event to grind for each blacklist racer.

Do you know if this would be applicable in the earlier stages of the game? Some blacklist members dont unlock certain tracks until you beat them.

You’ll just have to do it with a different track that’s best suited for the stage of the game you’re at. This is basically an end game money farming method since unfortunately you have to reach the end before unlocking the real high paying races.
