The tachometer doesn't read correctly. Working on fixing that. Update: This truck is falling apart at the seams. This video in fact, was the last time it ran and drove somewhat properly. Im working on fixing it up, but I'm heavily limited in budget. A few years into the future, i plan on doing a 302 V8 swap.
What seats do you have in it? I’ve got an 87 with the standard bench, but those look really nice 👍 I’ve been trying to find good replacements for mine.
Also I saw your comment about the gauge cluster as well. I haven’t had to replace it. Mine just still works. The tach is a bit off as you could probably tell. It shows it at anywhere from 1K to 4K just at idle, but the engine is fine
My first vehicle was an 89 Ford ranger extended cab, within a couple months, the drums on both sides locked up, about 5 months after, my drive shaft just fell of at a stop light at the tranny, then about 3 months later my tranny died. My dad says im sadistic cause ive said thats been the best truck ive ever owned and I had a 2010 F150 in 2009, so like newer than new LOL
My Ranger hasn’t really had any serious issues. I think the worst thing was the old fuel injectors shorted out the PCM. That problems gone now. The only issue I’m having now is that it’s running incredibly rough, I’m assuming the catalytic converter clogged up since it’s original. It won’t pass emissions here because of that, so I haven’t driven it in ages, but I’m not gonna sell it. I love it too much, and I wanna continue my off road build on it.

I have one under my 96 and love it
hey man, what size tires and wheels are you running on your rig?
I have to check the next time I’m able to work on it. I know these wheels are stock.

I don’t know man it came on the truck when I bought it.
