Hey love (your English is perfectly fine btw😊). I’m not an international student so I don’t know how any of that works. I can only speak on my experiences here.
oh my gosh this was soo very informational and helpful! Thank you for making this video, yes would love a series because I am so interested in learning more getting ready to start now in taking these steps in my dance future and career!
Hello! I love all your videos, I've been arguing with my parents over college or no college for the past year, so this video really helped me! I'm curious about the process of becoming a backup dancer, what tools/experience/etc. that would be required to pursue a career in backup dancing/performing, if you have any knowledge or advice on the subject I would really appreciate your help. Thank you and much love!
Maybe a video on how to start taking steps to your future now before your out of high school, or could you recommend doing anything now for dancers like me who want to start taking action to either educate themselves or like what to do to prepare!?!
And literally it’s crazy my school only talked about concert dance and I knew even in high school I didn’t wanna be a concert dancer or join a company. Instagram is how I learned about the commercial dance industry and that’s so sad
This helped me a lot, everyone that are friends of mine and dancers kinda guilted me that I dont need the help of college dance. But growing up I never had the opportunity to dance with anyone but myself because I live in such a small town. Are there any specific scholarships that are for dance or can any school be applied? I hope that made sense 😅
That’s what I had planned on but I discovered occupational therapy! I’m almost done with an associates for Occ.Ther. Assistant. I need a bachelors to get the OT Masters eventually. I will prob do the Psych major but dream of a studio for special needs. There are adapted dance programs and Dance for Parkinson’s that go perfectly with occupational therapy. I also help coach the High school team on occasion when I can. Dance is my passion. Not sure how I will keep it in my life! I’d love to do the dance major but not sure if that would be practical.
Have you ever heard of a dance studio that does adaptive dance, dance for Parkinson’s, or trauma therapy? This is something I’m interested in and would love your thoughts. I’m finishing COTA school in the fall and will need to decide a major for my bachelors degree. Psych, Health studies management & marketing, and dance are my options. Allertra@Warhawks.ULM.edu I LOVE what you said about dancer autonomy. That really spoke to me.
Could you make one vídeo speaking about dance in LA for international students? (I'm sorry for my english)
