  • This video was a little long. But all the ornaments are easy to make. I really liked the star on top. I think I could use some primitive garland. I did put the tree on my old singer sewing machine coffee bar. Looks so cuter there! Hope you enjoy the video.

So glad hubby is doing well. When things happen like that it's scary. Love all your ornaments & especially the tree topper star. God bless you all.

Oh my gosh! What a crazy week you have had! I'm so glad your husband is doing ok and I'm so sorry your plans were thrown in disarray. Love that you are passing down traditions, such as the noodles, to your children and grandchildren ♥ The tree turned out absolutely wonderful and what great ideas for the ornaments! Will need to make some of those as well. Thank you!

I think it is important for kids (boys and girls) to learn to cook as soon as the understand how to be safe in the kitchen. I tought all 3 of mine and they message me occasionally to ask about a particular recipe that we made through the years.
Those little bells are so cute.
    Tfs

Thank you! I agree that kids should learn to cook. My second daughter loved to cook. Not so much with my first. But she has turned out to be a pretty good cook too.

Hi Sandy, so glad to hear your husbands surgery went well and he is recovering. Glad you got to enjoy some time over Thanksgiving with your kids and grandkids. How special that your granddaughter jumped in and helped with making your recipes. That is special! Your little tree is adorable. I like it in the crock. I think the candy sticks were my favorite. They turned out adorable. And I LOVE the home made bells. I am obsessed with those bells. Take care and thanks for the inspiration.

The bells are my favorite. You could use the greenery in the beginning for carrot tops. The tree looks beautiful!!

You know my mind is on spring now. I was looking at the greenery and thinking the same thing. Pretty sure you will be seeing them in a video as a carrot top….

Hey girl, so glad you had a good Thanksgiving with all considering! So thankful your husband is OK! My husband needs to have that same surgery for years now, but he won’t take time off of work to do it. Worries me sick!! So stubborn! I am just getting into the video and just had to say in North Carolina. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything price $.50 at the thrift store. You are so lucky to find such cool stuff. Can’t wait to finish watching the video and see what projects you do tonight!

My husband had it for over 20 years. Like yours he said he couldn't take time off. Well.....that went out the door...lol He was back to work 5 days later but took it easy and no lifting.
