      So the bass(est) string is a C? (Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here.)
      I'm impressed with what you achieve in this tuning. The only cross-reference I have for tenor banjo playing is Eddie Peabody - would he have used this or a similarly intervalled tuning? (Do you call this a tenor banjo?)
      (Thanks for your consideration in this by the way. (And I can't help noticing that you say cgbd and then seem to 'correct it' to the same cgbd. (So which is it? ☺ ))

      Yes bass lowest note is c
      It's std plectrum banjo tuning, 22 frets like a 5 string drop c without the 5th string
