Spot on with all of this, particularly the 4th and 5th point. Pc flipping takes up about half my garage and half my brain space. I enjoy building and selling PCs waaaaay more than actually using a pc! Great video!
@@PC.ustoms I even really enjoy finding and negotiating deals. Planning builds and getting the parts together is almost as rewarding as actually building them.
Completely agree with this (points 4 and 5). My basement has been taken over by the various PC builds I have going much to my wife's annoyance. As a teacher I have a lot of time in July and August to dedicate to this hobby. During the school year it's a bit more difficult but as a veteran teacher I don't have to plan outside of class as much as I used to.
My man. I’m enjoying your videos and appreciate the consistency. But would be nice if you upgraded your camera in the near future. Would work so well with your nice editing💪
Thanks! I would love to, it's just a bit expensive. I'll be using my phone until I can justify a good camera. Until youtube can either make enough money to cover it, or I need a better camera for something else, I don't think ill be able to :/ It's unfortunate how much stuff costs.
@@PC.ustoms Totally fair. As long you continue making banger videos I’ll be happy. Cameras are expensive but you will be rewarded with your consistency. Trust!🔥💪
@noahosbornsarry9538 Thanks!! I'm sure it will happen sooner or later. I'm pretty close to getting monetized, and after that, it's all downhill. More videos are coming your way in the coming weeks!
W vid! I have i question: could you make a video or smth about why i should buy the rtx4070 super or the rx 7900tx i want to pair it with my 7800x3d but all vids i watched say different things.
Thanks! I would absolutely love to. However, nice hardware is expensive, and I don't have the money to do that right now. Sorry, but for now, I can't :/
@Jona.aisongs sounds good!! Before you pull the trigger, just know that nvidia is much better for content creation, because the av1 encoder on board is much better for video decoding than what AMD has. So for streaming, video editing, or anything not gaming related, Nvidia is probably the way to go
@@PC.ustoms yes, that's right, but I'm not really into creating content yet. If I am in the future, I can probably use my brothers 4080, which has de and encoding, and the 4070 only decoding if im right,so that would mean i also need to buy a 4080-90 Thats to expensive/:
Hi, really enjoyed the video today :) I’m actually also a Scout who flips PCs, currently my rank is Life but I’m still working on the push towards Eagle and it’s been hard. The merit badges have been killing me, I’ve been working on the minor requirements of Camping, Cooking, etc since I crossed over to Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts and completed them months ago, but I’ve been receiving a lot of pressure from my dad to start the requirements I already finished no matter how I try to let him know I’ve already been working on that this whole time 😅 What I was meaning to ask you though, and I know this is a pretty cliche question, is are there any tips you have to finish the longer time/daily commitment based requirements without any Troop activities/campouts in the summer while also balancing school life and school-required sports on top? In general I try to be a straight A student, last year I was maintaining a 4.0 until the very end of the year where I slipped a little. part of that was because I was still going to campouts every month and troop meetings every week which sapped a lot of my homework and final studying time away (so instead of working on assignments after school, I had to wake up in the early morning for them which also messed up my sleep a little). So I would really be interested in any tips you have because the workload starts to pick up more for me around this time of summer 😅
A great skill to have as you go through life is to learn to manage your time and juggle your activities. For the day-to-day stuff where you need to consistently put in effort, they generally last up to 90 days (it's been a while, so lmk if I am wrong), so for those 90 days, it's all about having a good routine. That's what helped me the most. As for doing it without troop activities/campouts, just be consistent. I'd be happy to talk more about stuff if you wanna DM me!
Bro in my area it sucks so bad bro I had an listing that I posted maybe like 3 months and nobody wanted to buy it if you want some pictures I can send it to you!
I tried pc flipping but it might be my pictures or the way I would word it, but I would sit on a system for months. GPU filling is the last attempt I’m trying before giving up. People just don’t have the money and they always want you to sell bellow market price.
I'd recommend maybe checking out some of my other videos. I go over what I do to make a great listing, and (usually) sell a good number of PCs a month. Thanks for watching, and sorry you have had a rough experience.
It can definetly be addicting if you have a passion for pc hardware and are interested, if you just want to flip Pcs for money without the passion, you won't end up wrong but if its as enjoyable as a part time job, then the part time job will be more steady. A 6th one I might add (that Mr.PCustom forgot ❤) is that you also have to pay for shipping and wait for parts or have to pick them up which requires you to spend money on transportation.
@@PC.ustoms its not always the case that you don't know about pcs, so I thought the point would be fine, I just thought its fitting since you yourself had to drive longer ways
All valid points. How I started last summer… I posted an ad on facebook in a local group asking for old computers that people did not want. The response was amazing. I received about 20 old computers. I refurbished/cleaned them and sold them one by one. This gave me the startup money to buy flips. Anything is possible if you are willing to put in the work.
I enjoy the videos from youtubers but one problem is it has increased the price of materials to buy for people like me. Where I once could buy a used pc to upgrade for $25 now people want $2000 and yes you read that correctly grandma watched a youtube video and thinks her 2005 E-machine desktop is pricless now.
@@PC.ustoms Yea same, I enjoy it, but you do have to be patient, and definately not use it living paycheck to paycheck. I just made 900$ on a build that I sold on monday, after a dry spell of 5 weeks of no sales. Luckily I have other things going for me, and as I'm in college I can't sink my time into it quite like you have, but I've made thousands of profit from doing it, and have seen my friends waste their lives behind a cafe counter while I sit at home playing on computers that make me money lol. I don't even game ever, I just play minecraft, but building a sometimes repairing for people is what I enjoy, its good money, and beats working for a retail employee.
@@PC.ustoms Its pretty funny, cause for the most part I just like looking at the funny lights in the pc, and seeing bigger number better in the benchmarks, (and making raytracing and distant horizons in minecraft go brrrrr)

The money is still good enough to pay for my expenses, which aren't much at 16. Amazing alternative to working in fast food or something.
Absolutely. I'm just saying if you are depending on it for rent, it might not be the best of jobs.
