Fun! While we know most of the stories, there is always an unknown morsel we hungrily devour, so thank you!!!

I grew up reading and admiring these poets. So enjoyable to listen to scholars talking about them. Thank you !

Thank you for uploading this video, it's really helped me understand the distinctions between the two generations. I was pleasantly surprised when I realised I was listening to this on the 189th anniversary of Byron's death.

Thanks so much for your kindness. I know the Rossetti one from the original source and another channel, and I discovered the wonderful Byron program recently. You are a gem for sharing them with us all, thanks again. - Erika :)

Thank you for the kind words :). I have other discussion's that are similar to this and if you are interested I will upload them for you? As well as other literary figures you may have read and enjoyed such as (by looking at your page) Christina Rossetti. I have already uploaded a video on Byron that is on my channel, that you may like to watch which is called 'Lord Byron Radio Documentary'.

I am glad you enjoyed it :). I personally prefer the later Romantic poets. Have you read the 'dedication' to Don Juan by Byron? Where he makes fun of Wordsworth, Coleridge and Southey? It always amuses me. I prefer the Later Romantic poets they are far more radical (especially Shelley).

...Don Dew’On...? rather Don Juan (Wa’an )..ie,Spanish...’XWAN. Or is this some Anglo-academic literary predicate I am unaware of...
