phil actually wrote most of sjr songs and plays guitar on both records I think he made some of his craziest screams on those 2 records. but no subgroup of pantera can compare to the real stuff. rip dimebag indeed man
It's a real shame Phil was such a fucking junkie at this point in his life. I'm so glad he turned it around. Just a shame Dime wasn't here to see it. He'd have been so proud of Phil for the man he is these days, humble, level-headed... Phil turned into the one of the good dudes once he got this out of his system. Although even this, what I'd consider his "worst" stuff, is still better than 95% of the shit anybody else could ever dream of producing.
