Well worth the 100 mile round trip with painfully slow traffic to see inside. With the added bonus of seeing Bembridge's Tamar from a new angle.
Congratulations on a magnificent new facility - the attention to detail and dedication of all RNLI staff is amazing. 😃👌👏👏👏👏❤️
It looks incredible, hope to be able to get there on an open day soon!
No, believable!
Great! Enjoy your new infrastructure.
amazing keep the work up 👍👍
RNLI, Even though the centre is responsible for both maintaining and building the all-weather lifeboats, will it handle the larger Seven and Trent class boats as well as the Shannon and Tamar class boats?
It certainly can Joel
So all the All-weather lifeboats can be maintained under one roof! @@rnli
Fantastic shots of those large blue Megadoors
Who installed them? Assa abloy? Or another door contractor 🤔
Does anyone remember the class lifeboat that has the four front windows and double rear entrance hatches
Brilliant. Do you make lifeboats for other organisations?
We don't but when our lifeboats go out of service they are sometimes redeployed to other lifeboat organisations. More info: rnli.social/3yVgcZk
What's the life span of the Shannon Class boats?
Dan Sanders 2 days.
The hull is designed to have a 50 year life span with a refit/upgrade after 25 years service
I’m sure the hoards of dinghy snipers will be very grateful for all this.
The Trent and Tamar class boats are so pointless . You only need Shannon and severe class boats.
Who paying for this??
Pork!
