- Pooh gets a sequel, and the Poohniverse is happening! Now that they have a proper budget, how does this sequel hold? Here's my review for WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY 2!
#winniethepoohbloodandhoney #BloodAndHoney2 Развлечения
This whole series just feels like a creepypasta thrown on the screen
And not even the good ones
Haven't heard that therm in a while. And you are probably right
He needs to review Monkey Man
I'm here for it.
that's what I want from it lol
Scary terry already did the whole "bitch" thing 😂
"You can run, but you can't hide, bitch!"
Literally came here to say that they stole that character trait from Rick and Morty. But then again Rick and Morty stole it from Jessie Pinkman
@@jbheath6678 It is literally a direct parody of Freddy Kruger say "bitch" a lot
@@jbheath6678 You twerps. Go watch Nightmare on Elm Street and see where the fuck that line came from
Welp Dave Chappelle uses "bitch" a lot as well soooo...
The scariest part was for the first week, it had a 100% on rotten tomatoes for like three days
My moneys on those reviews being paid reviews
Probably the critics that like horror/slashers saw it first.
Is still at 80% 😂
Yeah but with a very low average rating. That's a big negative about how RT works and it's perceptions of quality to the public.
Jeremy being so nice & supportive toward the creative minds behind this series is so heartwarming to watch
'But that said?'
@@henrymanuel8246people behind that pile will actually listen ? This is not massive production
He does have a point, not many people get to make the movie that they've wanted to make since they were kids. It may not be a *good* movie that comes out of it, but you gotta respect when someone's able to achieve a dream like that. It's a passion project for them, clearly.
I just hope he hasn’t been Stuckmannized.
@@Swordsman1425I suppose that is true if as a child you dreamed of low effort cash grabs built on the back of other people's works. If you are going to do something like this it actually needs to be a good movie, otherwise you're just making garbage to cash in on recognizable characters others built (even in the unlikely chance that wasn't your intent).
They really missed out on the opportunity to call this "Winnie 2: Electric Poohgaloo"
Banger of a comment
Disagree
😂😂😂
Shut her down boys…the comment of the day award has been won. We can all try again tomorrow. 😂
Poohgaloo. Bravo!
@@MrWCLewis12 dude you're laying it on too thick, he's gonna be able to tell you're being sarcastic
Is it good? Nah
Am I excited for the poohniverse? Absolutely.
Legit question. Why? We already saw that the last two movies were bad, what makes you think the team behind those two movies will do a better job?
@danieltobin4498 they obviously learned a lot between 1 and 2 so in theory they could be on an upward trajectory.
6:31 Jason X has a ton of memorable kills, I will never forget Jason beating the girl to death with another girl in a sleeping bag.
That was a classic kill. I don't get the hate for Jason X. I enjoy it each time I watch it
Jason X was the first R movie that I went to by myself when I turned 18.
Oh man, to this very day my dad still brings up that sleeping bag gag any chance he gets.
Man you just unlocked a memory of me and my cousins rewinding that scene over and over again just laughing our asses off. Good times.
@@shaunkrog3620 The series had already jumped the shark well before Jason X. But Jason X took the shark jumping to a new and stupid degree.
Late Night with the Devil LITERALLY DROPPED AND JEREMY WATCHED THIS! 🤣🤣🤣
The premise sounds entirely stupid yet also intriguing I'm watching that one instead lol
late night with the devil was phenomenal
@@Angels_Vlogs.saw it last night, it’s truly incredible. every second of that movie was so goddamn good
Facts
I think the AI controversy is putting off a lot of people. I haven't seen many people reviewing that movie (although I haven't really looked that hard either).
I'm more confused as to why he hasn't reviewed Love Lies Bleeding yet.
Tigger is Scary Terry.😂
Came here to say this 😂😂
"Aww, bitch..."
The honey jar head thing would’ve been so easy too, just have a scene of pooh sitting a head on a shelf and putting a ‘honey’ label on it.. fun little link, that simple.
Can’t wait for the inevitable horror super Mario movie. A shroom crazed maniac goes on a rampage, relentlessly pursuing his ‘Princess’
That sounds awesome
A horror Super Mario movie has already been made, it’s with Bob Hoskins:) That movie gave me nightmares for years…
I am sure the country without fair use laws will yield to the public domain concept. good luck, though.
I'm stealing this idea thanks
I doubt you’ll be alive when Mario enters public domain lol.
“Buffalo Bill in Geppetto’s house” is probably the most accurate description of the Pooh-niverse Pinocchio ever.
It’s weird that people think they need to make dark versions of fairy tales when most of the fairy tales are dark to begin with they just get watered down by Disney and other companies and people just take that as the definitive version
The fairy tales are dark under the surface, they suggest stuff, or make it minor. These movies, they want to make it in your face. These movies are supposed to be dark and offputting first and foremost. The fairy tales… You only sense that there is something slightly iffy.
To be fair; Winnie the Pooh was originally light hearted but this movie fails in execution.
@@borek92Objectively untrue. Cinderella originally involved eyes getting plucked from skulls and one of the step sisters cutting flesh off their feet so they could fit into the slippers.
So true. Even the Brothers Grimm made their tales more child-friendly than the horrific folklore they were based on.
It’s just because it’s easy to do quickly, has nothing to do with if it’ll be good or bad, all the good ways to use the characters just takes longer
Makes me wish we got a Mortal Kombat Armageddon remake with real fatalities
Annihilation*
@@badmoonris1ng476no it’s Armageddon, not the movie😭
If I were to make a horror version of Tigger, I would make sure to incorporate his bouncing to some capacity. Maybe his first appearance has him giggling from the shadows and whoever he's chasing is unable to get away from the giggling only for him to leap out and kill them. Could have him sing a variant of "Eny, meeny, minny moe" while pursuing a group before killing one of them, just replacing tiger with Tigger. Could have it that he prefers to kill by jumping onto someone with enough force to cause major injury. Leap into someone from high up and crush the head or torso upon impact. I think there is some stuff that can be done, didn't take me long to think those up.
His tail ould be razorsharp, so that when he lands on his victims, they are chopped up in little pieces
See? THIS is what i wanted from these movies
Pooh drowning somebody in Honey before saying "oh bother"
Tigger bouncing someone to death
Fuckin... Have somenody get stuck in a hole so Gopher can show up and kill them
Its never gonna be a serious horror movie but it could be a hilarious parody. Even though this looks better i just look at what they do with the characters and it feels like the extent of their creativity is a generic slasher flick featuring characters that... Kinda sorta have traits of the Winnie the Pooh characters.
I absolutely love the reference to the nitrogen kill in Jason X. Definitely top tier
I saw the title of the video and almost spit out my coffee😂
Understandable 😂. Jeremy’s facial expression in the thumbnail 😂
Jeremy’s face in the thumbnail 😂
What you want to bang it? You got hard when you saw it? What?
It tells you everything you need to know.
You bricked it on a RUclips thumbnail 😮wow.
@@somerandolad Yeah lol
Me when i see people wearing hoodies in summertime.
Potential Tigger kill:
*comes up from behind, puts one hand over the victim's mouth*
Tigger: "T."
*slashes across the throat*
Tigger: "I."
*cuts down the throat*
Tigger: "Double -"
*lifts hand off the victim mouth to have them choke-gurgle ('guh-guh'), followed by an 'er' as they fall over*
I mean we already have a horror Winnie the Pooh in real life. And he's the president of China.
that one scary af lol
This comment does not exist, move along
- 1000 Social credits 😡
Peppa_pig.jpg
I would put the president in quotations.
We already have a great Pinnochio horror, Lies of P :D
P Diddy?
I hear it's a good game
Pinnochio's revenge
@@Mathiks46 It is very good. Kind of underrated as well
I don't know, the original is already pretty scary.
Poohniverse, sounds like what happens in my bathroom sometimes, I used to call it, “Liquid Arse”, but I think “Pooniverse” may be more fitting on some occasions 😅
Tigger sounds like he would be my standout with that one liner
And this is how I learn there was a sequel.
You & me both.
What was the turn around on making this film? I could've sworn the other one just came out.
A year
That's B horror for you. Check out how often Friday the 13th films came out back in the day.
3:44 wait Scary Terry is in this movie?
Sounds like Tigger was their version of "Scary Terry" from "Rick & Morty" lol
I love The Lawnmower Dog.
Oh, oh, I just thought of a great dark twist on three tales, sure they've already been done but..
1. Cinderella but ala Willard/Psycho ala she uses Mice and rats as like a reverse Pied Piper to eat her victims because the wicked step mother broke her brain.
2. a re-telling of the Jungle Book but Mowgli went true Feral, cannibal, blood thirsty practically a werewolf rampaging through the jungle
3. Snow White was a vampire the whole time and that's why she's described as pale white and bloody red lips
🔥
I had been playing around with a Hansel and Gretel horror idea where after they escape from the witch and believe that she burned to death... The witch plots revenge and almost a decade later traps one of the siblings in a psychological prison (the witches power is illusion so think Mysterio but dark and twisted) and the other one has to rescue the sibling in some dark Life or death game which is various parts Escape Room, Squid Game and Jumanji...
@@ArmyWolves oh, or what about a what if in which the Witch technically won by eating Hansel but Gretel survived by killing her with her own cooking but now Gretel can’t stop cooking and feeding people to each other because she’s become the new Witch but is also a super health nut who loathes the sight of anything sweet or fattening
I love the second idea because the original story was based on a tiger that was going around eating people in India, Mowgli could be a feral child eating people with a tiger.
@@Tadicuslegion78 🔥
Definetely dark and twisted... Gretel becomes psychotic after the trauma...
@JeremyJahns: The Christopher Robin warped perception/memory concept was done extremely well in Bioshock 2
Jeremy grew up with Winnie The Pooh
I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone under 40-50 who didn’t at this point
I never thought you of all people would review this but still cool to see your work
1:34 I nearly spit my drink on my screen. That was a solid joke lol
So now we´ve had remakes of old movies, sequels of old movies three decades after they ended, unasked-for prequels, reboots of old movies, remakeboots of old movies, and I guess now the bottom of the pile is horror reimaginations of old childhood books.
Loved the first one. Always watch your reviews mate , I’m not sure when this gets a Uk release though. Hopefully soon. 👍🏼
Enjoyed it .. nice nod to Freddy Krueger and Jason as well
"Gorno" love it!
Have Jeremy ever been approach by film makers for plot ideas? Bc they should! Most of his ideas make so much sense! Man they’re missing out.
Hey Jeremy, love your content, noticed you’re not doing reviews of allot of shows recently. Wishing I’d be able to get your take on love lies bleeding and immaculate. Just letting you know I was searching for it!
The most frustrating part of the whole thing isn't even the played out idea of childhood characters turned into horror, it's that none of the awesome tips like Jeremy gives here are really making it into the product. There's so much spirit that could be there and make the idea legit worth the damn money and effort, but it's exhausting for everyone when it feels like it's just made for the sake of it
Tiger really felt like a freddy krueger rip off.
It seems the creators took criticism of the first movie seriously and put effort into making a better product. Gotta commend them for that.
General consensus of this film seems to be: Lean into the camp and silliness, give the monsters more lines/personality and incorporate more elements of the source material. Pretty much every review I’ve seen mentions this, so if the creators take that to heart and make those adjustments they will have serious cult classics and probably make even more money
Love ya Jeremy! If you were let down in this you NEED to watch the Terrifier movies. Would love to see you review these.
1:00 Chris Stuckman abides.
Chris Suckman?
I cant wait to see what this universe will be! I'm excited to also see Jeremy's take on them.
A lot of "fairy tales" and children stories definitely had horror elements on their original versions.
Great review bro
I can tell what Jeremy is going to score the movie based on the thumbnail. 😂
Oh boy, I can't wait for Bambi to only be a guy wearing a mask, who has no personality and just kills people in the least creative ways- and the same for all the other characters
I had lots of fun with this one. It was just ridiculous stupid fun but I will agree they do ping pong between the serious and the absurd in odd ways. But yes, I am intrigued to see how this series of films goes 😂
never would I have imagined you reviewing a movie sponsored by Fathom Events, wow, this is a first. look at you, coming out of your comfort zone. proud of ya, dude. those movies were still better than Imaginary!
Why aren't you a producer / director? You have some great ideas dude
Great Review Jeremy!. As a fan of these films to me its just fun and over the top horror haha.
We ALL had that friend who told us that SNES Mortal Kombat had a blood code.
Also, i laughed when Jeremy used his own head for the honey pot. Nice touch
I was not expecting a review for this film. Okay! I'll go with it!
In The Original Book &
Guerrmo DelToro's Version,
Pinocchio Steps-On &
Even Squashes Jimney!
I would like to see a twisted Pinocchio or hell even a humpty dumpy if they do it right
I wanted to see this but it didn’t get a local release for me. My local theaters are really dropping the ball on scheduling. I missed the first one not knowing it was a single show only.
Bro, you comparing the kills to the fatalities in MK Armageddon was SO on point
Right, the public domain! Here I thought this was Disney-approved for a second.
Why would they of all people would approve this? 🤣
Since they approved twerking in both she hulk and turning red. @@InfiniteFury2K
You thought Disney would be okay with Winnie the Pooh murdering people? Lol
@@jr2904 i mean, they keep letting people murder beloved Star Wars and Marvel characters, so i can see the confusion.
I know what you were trying to say, but unlike Mickey Mouse, it wasn't Disney that held the rights to Pooh.
Creativity is dead. Also, there has already been a Pinocchio 'Chucky' horror movie. It was called Pinocchio's Revenge (1996)
This movie did something I have never seen before. Taking its less than stellar predecessor and using it as a plot device as a movie in the movie! That is genius
I listen at work to RUclips. It was worth going back to pause the video for the MK blood code joke.
I can’t wait for Jeremy to review Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble…
Far better den Madame web 💀
I had the same reaction to that insane poster.
I get that nostalgia is powerful, but I don't think it's strong enough to make a bunch of serial killers look like stuffed animals.
I'm never gonna see this movie as I avoid horror/slasher films genre like a plague due to nightmare fuel. But Jeremy, for the love of Netflix & chill, please review _Three Body Problem_ as soon as you can. It's already out and generating mostly rave reviews.
I saw it right as it debut then immediately jumped onto the Tencent (Chinese) version. Just finished my binge, and I think the Netflix show did it better with a tighter script. GoT showrunners D&D managed to keep the essence of the book (as most book readers will attest), but they did borrow heavily from the Tencent version for a few key scenes.
You're reviews are awesome. I always look to them first before other YT critics. Cheers and thanks!
Ever heard of “Inferno” from Games Workshop?
Oh, feckin’ love your reviews 🤘🏻
This movie is everything that I wanted from the first & more.I can't wait for the Poohniverse! Easy 10/10
Pinocchio movies are career enders.
I had absolutely no idea a sequel even existed until I was just casually scrolling through Jeremy’s videos 😂
Love the interjection at 5:56
The main reason is because the Disney series and the original books are not allowed to be adapted unless its a new take on it.
3:39 Hey Jeremy, real quick, you ever watch rick and morty when Scary Terry shows up, your impression of Tigger reminded me of exactly that
Bambi meets Godzilla was awesome growing up. Good times.
In the first movie the run over a girls head with a car but really slowly so the weight of the car crushes her. That kill had me in terms of creativity. Also the wood chipper from the first one
The mortal kombat SNES blood code made me chuckle.
This is a really good review
Love these types of movies! Im def gonna watch this
Dude, been missing your videos thought you fell off the face of the earth but it was just RUclips unsubscribing me smh.your reviews are awesome
We watched the first movie at work. We laughed our asses off.
The mk Reference was the best part of this video
That intro lmao
I watched the first movie haven't watched the sequel yet but I can say from the trailer it is a massive improvement
Look on Jeremy's face in the thumbnail is the only reason I watch this video lol
Based on the thumbnail, it looks like Jeremy ain't excited for the Poohniverse 🐻🍯🩸
I feel like Christopher Robin could've been like Ryan Reynolds' character in that one movie where he's off his meds
The voices, I like that movie
I can already imagine Bambi just being not deer
I haven't seen it but I do like the idea that Chris's happy fake memories were like the books we all know and love and this THIS is the reality.
The only reason I knew about the blood code for MK on the SNES was because my dad felt compelled to buy the strategy guide for some reason lol luckily it included all the cheat codes
Good review
Didn't even know they made a second one
I had no clue this was being made, I was really hoping this was an early April fools joke when I saw the title 🤦
Holy crap. I want that Pinocchio movie immediately.
Would love to see a masters of the air review
I'll keep my childhood memory intact ... thank you...
This is why Jeremy is my favorite reviewer, he uses MK Armageddon as a frame of reference 😂 (and he's absolutely right!)
I feel like this is one of those perfect movies. If you're having a Halloween party you stick it on in the background along with all the other schlocky terrible bee horror movies that you don't really want to pay attention to and then when it gets really late you put on one of the classics like the thing alien or Friday the 13th
Well at least is not "Dog shit"😂😂
Oh yeah, Jason X also had the camper in the sleeping bag kill !!!
