can't think of a unit able to replace her. she's just the best tank assist there is. maybe make a unit soooo slow, that it acts after the last move of the wolf and serenoa so fast, that he can out speed even the fastest attack of the wolf so you have him in the front the whole time guarding attacks.

Did you already use Serenoa A4 on Serenoa in your previous attempts? I like to put that on Gilderoy since it combines with his passive for 6 turns of 30% physical reduction, and give the Devin's A4 + Meena A4 on Serenoa. Not being able to reuse accessories does suck though. One thing I forgot in my attempts is that Shelby's A4 gives 50% status ailment resistance to row partner. From what I understand, this should combine with Staunching Charm for 100% bleed immunity, but I haven't tested this as I only found out after beating the wolf.
last one is exactly the combo I have used on serenoa for attempt 1 and 2. that's why I needed to bleed resistance accessories on gilderoy and 6 turns of increased defense is not enough if this battle can easily go further than that :3 so you have to think about what accessories are benefiting over 20 turns :)

sadly no. you can only do this with hell weapons sometime when you can slot in souls which can extend the damage cap. that way those weapons get a little weaker to use in the living world. but if that unit would do high damage anyway, then that's the way to go!
I really really recommend to get her. she's so powerful for each fight where a tank is useful! but she's not mandatory. you can also place Hayes behind your tank and use another thief like viola in another row. (but then the strategy is a little of)

Easy? with swords? * cries * even capping damage with fiore, 2b and richard i cant deal 20% in 20 turns and dont know why (i dont have rondo-lars-olberic)
you need to do 40% damage in one attempt so you have an easy time with your 2nd team in attempt 3 with only 20% lasting. those units you've chosen are also very very strong. maybe there is some little mistake in that run which is easily overseen after so many turns. are you caping sword Res down and p Def down all the time? are your offensive buffs ALWAYS caped? and on the right units?
well you can't decrease the elemental attack further with rinyuu in the back. so you kinda have to have high hp on anyone or have the healing prayer on the whole time.
meanwhile I am using the souls which have the least negatives on the unit as possible to make them sturdier. so if the "best negative" is elem.atk down, I'll choose that for a physical attacker which is provided by the tainted ones. if the AOEs hit harder with elemental attacks, then I'd go for bewitched to have less physical defense for that unit because that dice gives the most stat boost in comparison to e.atk down. it hardly depends and I configure fortune weapons for almost all new battles coming :/
I tried. but I couldn't buff the defense of gilderoy enough with that team. thieves tend to only decrease physical attack and not elemental attack which the wolf hits way harder with in the last time you are tying to finish it off.

Small correction, Viola does cap P.Def down with her 25% Debilitate and her 10% Blazing Dagger. She also extends Lars's Ultimate debuff by one turn :)

You would need Yan Long's A4 for passive defense down on break.

I had a -300 PDef Spear on Gilderoy and he still tanked fine. Def really doesn't affect damage in this game.

Yeah, she basically can do all of her important actions while leaving the tank in front the entire time.

I did. but as soon as you should get the gist of one rotation it will repeat itself over and over until the turn limit is exceeded.

it's mainly a stalward weapon with atk+ and damage limit up.

How did you go past the 99,999 damage cap with the sword team? Is that something you can put on Fortune weapons?

For the last round why don't you go with a dagger team? My dagger team tends to be as strong as my sword team.

Fiore EX should work with the last attempt. Since you're not using Sarisa anymore and the enemy isn't weak to spear/sword.
