Hey Zain, thanks for the compliment! Yes, the motion background during the majority of the scenes and a few of the transitions are from the MKBHD plugin pack from MotionVFX.
To anyone who might have the same problem: For me, the song showed up in the iMusic library on my IPhone when I turned off and on the sync in Apple Music Settings
@@BaumElmann trying turning off and then back on again ‘syncing’ in your Apple Music settings. I just tried this process again and it did take roughly 5 minutes or so to sync to Apple Music on my phone. Hope this helps
Nope.. this used to work since the beginning of iTunes Match about 15 years ago, but starting in March of 2024 Apple added AI that scans the tracks you upload and if they violate copyright (like DJ mixes or mashups) may give Cloud Status errors. This means you could add and listen to a track on your Mac computer, but it will not sync to the cloud so that you can listen to it across devices (like your iPhone). To check in Apple Music on your Mac, go to "View > Show View Options" and make sure "Cloud Status" is checked on, then go to Library > Songs in the sidebar on the left and you will see either "Apple Music", "Matched", "No Longer Available", "Uploaded", "Removed", "Waiting", or "Error" as the Cloud Status. Since March of 2024, I get "Error" for the DJ mixes I make from the records I buy :(
@@CScott4k I'm glad it works for what you're doing. My custom 90-minute DJ mixes still won't sync with iCloud and I've updated to MacOS Sequoia 15.0 and iOS 18.0 The only workaround I've found is to turn off "Sync Library" for Music on my iPhone and manually sync my mixes to my phone using Apple Music on my Mac, then turn iCloud sync back on after they are on my phone.. but no luck with them working with iCloud still. Not sure why yours work and mine don't, but Apple support told me it's because it now checks for copyright. For many years, I used to just add my mixes to Music on my Mac and it would automatically sync to Music on my iPhone, but now I still get the 'Error' for 'Cloud Status' in Music on my Mac and it doesn't sync through the cloud (and I have Apple One).
How come when I tried to airdrop it to my MacBook it automatically opened RUclips on the web browser instead of QuickTime Player, any way to choose QuickTime ?
@@CScott4k ahhh I missed the screen recording part! Ok got it and it works! Thank you! Another question though, are you able to combined screen recordings? Like take a bunch of diff songs and turn it into one long mixed song ?
I assume you would edit them together and export them as a single file? Yes, you could do that. Keep in mind that for Apple Music, files can’t exceed 200 MB.
Here's a question for you. This has never happened before. My musical partner suggested we get a best of LP pressed. He suggested a couple of playlists. I tried to open MY music in Apple Music and it won't let me play any of it all of a sudden. It's offering me a free 30 day trial to listen to my own music. Is this just another step in the death of iTunes? I'm old and I still try to use Music like iTunes. But why am I being asked to pay for my own music? Even when clicking on unreleased tracks? Wtf?
@@MisterNiles Yes, I believe to be able to listen to anything in Apple Music, you have to have an active subscription. I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for or not, but you may be able to store/listen to directly through the files application on your iPhone. Of course, doing something like this eliminates the possibility of using features of Apple Music, like lossless audio etc. This probably isn’t the answer you’re looking for but I hope it helps and sorry for the delayed response.
Well that was a big fail.. I don't want an Apple Music subscription just to listen to music I already own on an external HD (decades worth) using Music on my MacBook. It works fine in the old iTunes without a subscription, That's crazy.
@@yours_truly42 I am by no means a lawyer but a quick search yielded these results: The Copyright Clause of the U.S. Constitution grants the right to use copyrighted works for personal use, such as for entertainment or learning. @@CScott4k right, but I'm having a similar issue where it says "This item is not synced across your devices." even though i tried many times to refresh my apple cloud library. It's somehow only on my PC as a download, like it's not in Apple's servers.
@@willrivera2919 Are you using the ‘get info’ option, and then add Artwork?. Don’t forget to hit ‘done’ immediately after as well. I just tried this process again a few minutes ago, and seemed to work fine
I am no legal expert. From Apples standpoint, they’ve always allowed you to add your own. Sounds. From RUclipss standpoint screen recording from RUclips for personal use is generally permissible.
I am sick and tired of Apple and ITunes and their damn near monopoly here that has to screw with everything. I want original music, that I’ve already purchased a dozen times on nearly that many formats, not these “remastered, digitized” etc POS! 💩 And I want to be able to mix and mash my own playlist for my personal use. I definitely do not want or need their AI bots poking around and spying on me in my own devices. This should be illegal if it’s not already!
