How to Repair a Dead/Bricked Quadcopter ESC

- Well, it happens, sometimes the cheapo ESCs (and even the expensive ones just die. In my case, I flashed my quadcopter ESC with the wrong firmware and after that, the BLheli Suite failed to read my ESC.
So here is how you can use an Arduino to repair your dead or bricked ESC.

hi! can I test a 4in1 esc running on blheli_s and dshot 600 by connecting a pwm signal wire from a receiver to each motor input? I don't have a flight controller yet so i just need to test if the escs work.

I just got this exact 4-in-1 ESC and in setting it up with the configurator to reverse direction on 2 of the ESCs, I decided to flash the latest firmware on all 4. It worked on the first 3 then failed on the 4th. I retried flashing on the 4th, and it worked, but then the other 3 just disappeared when I try to read setup. Only #4 shows. Seems there is a bug in the configurator that is causing the bricking as the ESC worked fine ahead of connecting it to the configurator. I then tried the Suite and had the some results. I've since ordered another brand of ESC.

Hello I have a tyro 69 to and I have two motors on my esc who not working but I not Understand how to find the good ports for the good motors.

Have you had any hands on with the Vacuum robots ? was curious if it would be possible to add room mapping to one that is just a
" bump and go " i have a Shark 750 That is all its lacking
I haven't looked into it but I think you can add LiDAR. The modules are cheap nowadays

Hey buddy! I was facing this same issue with two of my escs and i found ypur video. I am using the hobbywing 40a 30x30 esc. I wanna ask how do i find the d2 and d3 points on this esc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot mate!

Hi can anyone help I just brick one esc it would not show in blheli s any more it is babyhawk 2 hd board and I can not find thous pins to solder arduino I do not know if this board have them it is all in one can any one help please thanks

Just built brand new quad, FETtec G4 fc and FETtec 4 in 1 45 amp esc.
On power up I get 2 beeps for the fc and 3 beeps for esc not 4.
Is it possible just one could be bricked?
3 solid blue lights on esc and one flashing. Arming will arm the 3 motors but not the 4th.
