- A style of video I have been itching do for quite some time. Inspired by @MABO and @Roberto Oliveri.
Entire sequence was shot on a Sony a7Siii. Sgambut3.cine and Slog3. Cut and sequenced in premiere pro then imported to Davinci resolve to color grade based off of Tom Bolles "Cineprint16 Emulation"
This was my first time ever using davinci resolve so go easy on me!
95% of this was shot handheld. Opening sequence used a Ronin RS2.
Lenses used included:
Sony 35mm f1.8
Sony 20mm f1.8
Sigma 28-70 f2.8
Tamron 70-180 f1.8
Tiffen Black PM 1/8
Tiffen Variable ND 2-5stop

Looks like it is filmed with an old phone and the sky is blown out
thanks for the feedback man! sometimes its fun to switch up the super clean digital look. I tried to emulate a more vintage setting. Sadly some shots the sky is over exposed but when shooting with just sunlight cant always expose for both skin tones and the sky. Im actually happy with it though I think it adds to some of the clips👍

amazing! would love to see a comparison betw cineprint and filmbox, filmbox is like wayyy more expensive if u move away from the lite version, wonder if it's rlly worth it

Yes it was at blue hour right after sunset! It was shot at 640iso which is the base iso for slog3 on Sony cameras
This inspired me to go out & shoot a vid portrait. Did you go full handheld? I just got my Tamron 35-150 but my gimbal can’t handle the weight & im not sure if I should bother buying another (more expensive) one
