- Racer X Garage Episode 127: I had to bust out some Zip Ties for now, but I hung a couple of my new Barrina T8 8ft 5000k LED Lights in the shop! Super happy with the result, especially for the budget lights!

Hey bud I’m gonna give you some advise from my experience and you can take it or not but if you hook more than three of those lights together it will melt the solder joint into, it will happen exactly half way up the bulb, if you take a close look you can see the little joints AND if you have a garage door opener that not manufactured in the last couple years those LEDs will cause all kinds of interference with the remotes.
100% confirm damage with more than three connected in series. Had to split the units in my 20' x 20' into fours sets (2, 2, 3, 3). But, one of the best updates I've made (split AC still in the works, so it may take first place, LOL).

Can you add the link for those 9’ extension chords that daisy chain the lights? You’re slowly making that house a home sir. I don’t think I’ve seen a inside plan for your layout on the inside yet. Lotta different plans on what all else will be in the garage and how you plan to use the space? My garage is such I clutter that I turn sideways to get through it and not enough space to work on my 69 cuda properly

I appreciate the kind words. I do have a ton of crud that I'm going to have to figure out where to put things. I do plan on building a storage loft here soon and setting up my workspace. Waiting for the spray foam to be completed so I can get that all started.
