    I am 99% sure Zane Flores was our future qb if Rhule was here a year earlier.

    Jeezuz-- I hope you guys are right on Kaelin leaving the Tigers. This QB recruiting stuff has gone back and forth like a ping pong marathon.
    It would be good for Daniel to transfer to Lincoln & would fortify a QB room that started this month with a lot of questions. Fingers crossed-- but I'm not getting my hopes up until there's solid news on this.

    Not that I'm all about stars necessarily but another 3 star? 483rd in the nation. What about any of the 482 guys in front of him?

    • @chrismarch6644
      @chrismarch6644 Год назад +7

      483 In the nation as a high school Junior and a 3 star athlete. How much credit do you give to that? Honestly. Logan was supposed to be one of the best quarterbacks in the state of Alabama and look where it got him at Nebraska. I don't think he got a fair shot with Frost. How much "better" is the 400th ranked qb? 300? 200? 100? We have seen what happens with Frost who couldn't develop the players (reminds me of Callahan). Give the "3 star 483 ranked" qb a shot who wants to be here and see how Rhule can develop him and forget about stars and rankings on a upperclass High School kid until he graduates High School.

      I would never wish bad on anybody, but I honestly believe Raiola is way overhyped. He's going to be a bust at Georgia.

    It means Misery is a loser and their loss is our gain.
    Post Script;
    I should have added I thought since we lost the best Quarterback prospect to come out of Nebraska in quite some time ( to Okie State of all places ) and we missed on Dugan from Omaha East...(across the river at Council Bluffs) ...and a Kid who learned to ride his bike inside Memorial Stadium, wanted so bad to be a Husker before commiting to Ohio State then AGAIN HE WANTED TO BE A HUSKER but our staff at the time blew that, then he Transfered to LSU , won the Heisman, and National Championship and has made it to the playoffs division championship 2 yrs running playing QB for another former Husker QB now head coach of the Bengals....seeing all of this recent blindness to great home grown talent..... figuring ALL THAT....WHY WE DIDNT JUST GET OUR HEADS OUT OF OUR COLLECTIVE BUTTS AND PULL THE TRIGGER ON THIS KID AND WISH DYLAN GOOD LUCK IS BEYOND ME ....?....Let's hope and pray this current staff paid attention and has now learned their lesson well and look very closely at in state kids first from now on star rating be damned....look at the pride the kid has in his heart at getting our full court press to play for the home school. You can't put a star rating on will power and how big the fight in the dog.....not get hung up on the size of the Dog

    Here is an off the wall question for you experts. Since these kids are getting paid to play College Football today, are they going to have Random Urine tests?

    • @dream_in_digital
      @dream_in_digital Год назад +1

      Well, Nouili had a positive drug test and had to sit out all last season. It's safe to assume they found out through a urine test.

      Osborne did it with 3 stars

    • @CDAFishboy
      @CDAFishboy Год назад

      @@thomassalvi I remember Tommy Frazier, Mickey Joseph, Turner Gill and Steve Taylor (all out of state) being HUGE recruiting wins. Grant Wistrom was a First Team USA DL. The latest string of starting QB’s were all 4*. Martinez, Armstrong, martinez again, Thompson, all the way to Sims.
      FB’s and OLinemen were built not recruited. But Eppley and steroids, the huge weight room, and the nuitrition Dept, all put Nebraska ahead of the pack. No advantages now. Recruits are well trained in H.S. And identified by the recruiting services. And Osborne is not the coach. Once in a lifetime coach that was part of all five NC’s.
      Torres is gone and Haarberg is intriguing to Rhule. He is more likely your great 3 star prospect.
      Raiola is no Tenopir, so don’t see the rebirth of the pipeline. Only able to recruit local kids.
      Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St, and USC are the class of the conference for now. Rhule needs to win with what he has and bring in more 4*’s. There are some in his first recruiting class and those that arrived have already shown well.
