You guys are the best commentators. Everyone else is just reactionary and it’s exhausting hearing the same thing from (insert fan base) for the past 30 years. Folks don’t have a clue what it’s like to be a coach. A small example of what a coach does… Ruhle selecting the coin toss based on the direction of the wind in the 4th quarter for the kicker knowing the wind was going to shift at half time. How many of these arm chair coaches would have known to do that? They think they would but they’d be so stressed about everything else going on they wouldn’t even think about that. Now apply that to everything a coach is doing and frankly the bottom of the list is spending his time explaining things to the armchair coaches 20 times a week without giving away knowledge to the opponents. Oh my Raiola didn’t pass for 200 yards this game. He’s a disaster! Last week he was going to the NFL. So which one is it? All I see is fans who’ve been waiting for a start like this and instead of celebrating it… they’re just complaining and finding negatives. That’s the real tragedy.
Wtf..it went from -3 loss. To a 20 yd play congrats to him. Both safeties are horrendous. Both bad angles and tackling. and pass pro. Can’t wait to get them out or benched.
Just wait until that all pro back from Iowa runs them over in late November. Just like those safeties can’t tackle late November during wisc/Iowa. Not a fan sorry
"that Guy" only had 78 yards rushing. half of his average. I was there and despite the east stadium suffering under the heat and the student section giving up in the second half... it was a great atmosphere.
Think of the walk on who knocked out the guy out at the 2yd line on that second block punt. Saved the day. For the epic defense stand but how close it can be

I think we got spoiled by that decade where we always had a future NFL running back: Helu -> Burkhead -> Ameer. Its been too long since we had someone of that caliber carrying the football for us.
Multiple times there were receivers wide open in the second half. Raiola either missed them or didn't even throw the ball. He was terrible against Rutgers. That's going to happen with any true freshman and probably won't be the last time he struggles this season.
I don't love the narrative that our defense played lights out. We were one easy catch and 3 inches on a field goal away from giving up 17 points and losing that game. They played good, but we were lucky to win.
Sean, Q39 is not the BBQ place you should go. They are not even in the top 5 for KC. I would say you should go to Danny Edwards or Wyandott. Those are both so much better than Q39.
When Tommi Hill comes back, start him and Wright opposite each other. Move Buford back to safety. Hartzog, Blye Hill, Charles would be dam solid rotational players. That could be a scary good DB room

Special teams is the only weakness. That needs to look 100x better in Indiana or Ed needs to get replaced! Not the specialists but the rest of it. Snapper, coverage, and protection.
Not going to happen. Not this year. Long snapper is the key to all of it. They'll get it right, or they'll get a new snapper in the portal. Everything else is improving

Ohio state has the 2 best on the same roster and the Iowa back is the 3rd best. We stopped a good, not great, run game. It was impressive but people need to stop lieing about who the nu defense stopped
Rutgers has the best running back--everyone agrees--that has ever existed. And their offensive line is better than most NFL teams'. God himself looks upon them with awe.
