- Pick Six Previews (Brett Ciancia) & his Game Grader system have been named College Football's most accurate predictor every year, since 2013! He's a Heisman Voter, national radio guest & on the All-America committee. Brett explains why he has Nebraska ranked no. 19 in the country & he predicts all of Nebraska's remaining games, including the Huskers final record! Hint, he has Nebraska beating Wisconsin & Iowa!
Will Nebraska beat Wisconsin & Iowa? I believe the Indiana game is a big momentum game. Learn more 👉👉 CarrikerChronicles.com
This is one of my favorite interviews. Loved your dialogue with Brett spotlighting game performance metrics. Data always tells the story! Thanks so much and Go Big Red!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great podcast full of good info backed up by stats! Thank you, Adam. Throw the Bones! GBR!
You bet!
Brett has best preview magazine out there. Met him twice at Huskers games. Once at Rutgers and in Lincoln against Colorado
✊✊
Raiola has a growing tendency to hold the ball a tad bit too long, and the receivers are inconsistent at creating separation. Raiola should start using his legs a little and take what the defense gives him. Easy yards for the taking make the difference between 3rd down conversions and quick 3 and outs. ☠️☠️☠️
Can’t get hurt tho which is the problem
Going to the Wisconsin game, a husker victory would be awesome. Especially the day before my birthday.
Holy smokes that guy looks young to be rocking and rolling with that magazine for 10+ years.
Great show!
Games are won in the trenches on both sides of the ball. If Nebraska cannot figure out how to run block, these next 6 games are gonna be tough to win. - This year's Nebraska team reminds me of Pelini's 2009 team that struggled on offense and won games by playing great D.
I would like to see us use Heinrich like the saints use Taysom Hill.
Yes we will beat Indiana. Final record 10-2. The defense is getting stronger and Dylan and the offense are improving. The Rutger game gave Dylan some things to study and improve on. The special teams as a unit have to make strides to improve and not cost us games. "Boomshini" is a definite bright spot on the special teams the rest of that unit need to bring themselves to that level , if nothing else atleast man up! GBR THROW THE BONES!!!!!!
Nebraska 31
Indiana 16
🎈
Yes, 8-4, defense, qb improving during pressure
Adam thank you for the chronicles. Cignetti worries me. He is a little bit Gary Barnettish. He just knows what he is doing and the team exudes confidence. I know they haven't faced a D like Nebraska but this is one where Ty and Nash better deliver the first blow instead of waiting to get mad. They score a TON of points and run an offense like they know what they are doing. And they do. I don't know that we have the O to hang in this one. What say you?
Nice!!👍
Well put💯

I think all of the teams we face the rest of the season will have two weeks to get ready for us
I can see a tough win but also a hard loss. 8-4 is do able but a 7-5 realistic because of special teams. Defense and not self imploding because offense is scoring. Need to improve on special teams and no penalties on break out runs and passes.
Indiana has beaten up on FIU(2-4), western IL(2-3 for fcs), UCLA (1-4), Charlotte (3-3 with 2 wins from their weak af conference), Maryland (3-2 and 0-2 in conference), and NW(2-3 and 0-2 in conference).
Nebraskas schedule so far has been UTEP(0-5), Northern Iowa(2-3), Colorado(4-1), Purdue(1-4), Illinois(4-1), and Rutgers(4-1). We are an OT from being undefeated and taken on far stronger competition imo but Indiana has for sure taken care of business with their inferior competition. I think Rutgers is going to finish the season showing that victory was a pretty dang good one similar to the Colorado one us proving to be. I think 7 point underdog seems a bit high with all things considered but if our offense lays another egg it could definitely become an ugly game. I still would take 7 points and Huskers for sure and think this guys model probably works across all of college football but like most models breaks down on a local basis. Current spread being 3.5 i think is a better portrayal of these two teams, where they are at, who they have faced and how they did. I think these two teams are pretty even overall and home field advantage is said to give about 3 pts. May be my rose colored glasses but i would be jumping all over getting 7 pts while his model says you should bet heavy on Indiana and giving 7
Biggest improvement is obvious. Kicking game. Not giving predictions as it is bad luck😂
I’m borderline shocked at how much credibility Indiana is receiving. They’ve played nobody. They’ve played NOBODY. They’ll get bullied around in this game, first time against a quality team. And with Indiana, they can lose their next 5 games, just look at their schedule. They’ve proved nothing. They’ve played nobody
bet the moneyline, do it
@@mattdavid716😂
@@mattdavid716 They might be the Cinderella of the season who knows. But they haven’t played a team with a defense in the top 50. Did this guy miss that stat when compiling data to judge Indiana?? I hate so much data, it only judges so much. It’s like the banks these days, they just go to what the computers say when you are applying for a mortgage 🤷♂️ whatever the computer says, can’t do anything about it, sorry!!!
They’ve played, NOBODY YET!!!! So Indiana has everything to prove still, and I can make one call that a computer cannot… their QB will be scared at the pass rush after the first time he’s hit, we’ll see about Indiana. They can lose their next 5 games in a row
I have to respect them, pride comes before the fall. But yeah their schedule isn't inspiring. I think we can win this one too
@@mattdavid716I’m slamming husker moneyline
Bro nothing like the Charlie McBride Ds that put like 6 or 7 up on the line and had LBs burning out at the start line like they were coming at you. And they were fast enough to drop back into coverage over the middle or follow a lame ass tight end of the 90s. Loved those days. They had the letes and the QBs only had time to make one read.
1) Nebraska will be Indiana by 1 point.
2) 9-3
3) Defense is the #1 best thing. Special Teams #1 thing they need to improve upon.
Dude you better watch out there's a guy that lurks about the comment sections of Adams videos that doesn't like listed answers 😂
I still don’t have any idea how they will play from game to game or quarter to quarter?????
Me either 🤔
yeah I still find myself expecting them to blow leads
Or play to play. Yikes. 😊
How is our offensive line so bad at times when they practice against our D line??? I don’t get it
That’s not how it works. Different schemes for different teams.
There’s still plenty of time to improve
9-3
I think Adam was too hard on special teams. If you’re ranking according to last year they are markedly improved in a couple areas. Punt returns last year were non-existent, point after kicks have been fine, the punting has been outstanding except for the last bust that about got Buschini killed. Yes, kick coverage has been spotty and field goals are a mess. They’re not as bad as rabid fans are making it to be. Maybe they could take a pill or something?
Yes.....we beat IU, and we finish 9-3
Is this a jinx Adam?
I know it’s Ohio State but nobody is calling out how soft their schedule is. I’m not picking the Huskers to win, but let’s be honest that schedule has been tissue paper soft.
Adam, FG KICKER is our biggest weakness and we won't beat Indy without our best kicker on the field!
I wouldn’t say our field goal kicker is the weakest. I think the blocking scheme and the snap to the hold. It has been the issue. I want it put a whole lot on our kickers.
👀👍
I disagree the Huskers will finish 10-2 one of my predictions from the start of the year we'll beat Indiana and USC the blackshirts will prevail over those teams Indiana hasn't played anybody USC is too inconsistent they're not ready for B1G games yet they're not built B1G tough
Only remaining loss i see is osu
More likely we go 2-4 down the stretch than 5-1 😂😂😂
@@Muzikskavenger hey man, you never know. Let’s try to stay positive and not be a negative Nancy.
@@Muzikskavengeryaaa diiick
Im afraid we'll lose a close one to Indiana. Ill go with 24 - 21.
I have to go with a 7 - 5 record. Special teams are going to keep us from winning the close ones. The O line needs consistency. Raiola is a little slow and would benefit from a better offensive scheme.
The defensive front 7 has been the strength of the team by far.
I think Nebraska beats Indiana. They are overrated and the best team they have faced is Maryland. They are not ready for the physicality both our lines bring and we will shut down their scoring efficiency and will be able to score more.
Not sure how the game will go but agree Indiana really has not been tested so we will see if they real or not
Lol we’re not losing to Indiana
Well I think we will get to six wins and thats it. And we get it really handed to us most of the rest of the season. Our D sucks and it will be exposed.
I agree that our D is not good
Yeah, you’re not husker fan. And if you actually are get your self hating attitude out of here.
Sir please buy a microphone 😅🙏🏻
Hmmm.... Maybe start HH for indiana game
Raiola had his worst game of the season. He had a chances to convert on 3rd down. Hope he realizes that 3rd down is the quarterback down. Keep the drive going.
GBR
Absolutely not maybe have Heinrich come in in a couple areas to give Indiana a different look and Allow us to open up the field. Then have Dylan come back and hit him over the top. This game against Rutgers was very good for Dylan. In the sense of learning. Remember, this is his first year.
@@CarnageUndone absolutely. On to the next phase for him for sure. Live and learn.
I smashed the down button because i just don't agree right off the bat. Will listen and see what pick six says though.
OK, you trolling fuck leave.
Ahright i gotta cut if off at 7:17. This is just more homer talk. I want honest criticism and how to fix the problems.
This is serious business to you…. To me, this is pregame fun.
@@sbladbyu To each his own. I'm just tired of the polishing of turds or attempt there of.
Finish the video man. The guest is fantastic and it's not like they're predicting something unrealistic like 10-2 or anything. This guy is about the stats, love the guest
@@Guevon_Pajaro the man is not a husker fan or he’s so negative just on the verge of the rope. Because he just hates everything about his life. There is no reason to talk to him, just block him and move on with your life.
After the Rutgers game, I could see NU going 6-6, if the offense doesn't get a fire lit under their butts.
I agree 100%. This last game was the worst offense I’ve ever seen from Nebraska. Our running game was alright but the passing was horrible. Regardless of the wind that day.
We need to step it up. I agree, but GO BIG RED!! 🌽🏈🎈
What is with all of this negativity? They have a bye to work out, kinks to go over things. Give them a little grace. They finally won a close game. This is our best record since 2016. We are trying to get back to average close to what Bo averaged.
@@CarnageUndone no negativity on my end. Just stating the obvious and wanting to see our team do better! GBR!! 🌽🏈
