      They are All rugged up. Comment above is spot on -they’ve been driving flat out for 90min. Their heart rates hit 160+. When they stop they are in Zero temps of Vegas winter and cool down real quick. Also elite athletes just sitting round have their resting heart rates at about 40bpm. This and their body clocks adjusting to times zones constantly they have to be prepared especially heading to Jeddah next . Also As George said last year he got pneumonia so you don’t have to be a genius to know why they do it. & George is English so you can’t say he’s not used to sub zero temps. Mind you jumping into the fountain didn’t help!.

    Given the fact that three podium finishers (actually most of this season's drivers, including Max) trained in driver development programme before making their F1 debut, Lewis discussing such is a nice shoutout and reminder about how brutal this sport is and anything around it, including social medias. He's been in such situation where he got hate from people even until now. Not to mention, 2025 debutee are considered young (in a range of 18-22 years old). Kimi Antonelli, Ollie Bearman, Gabi Bortoleto, and Jack Doohan each have a big name behind them, so it is their team's task to make sure they were focused on each of their races and to enjoy all the progress they make.

      No Lewis’s answer was not “perfect” its a slightly condescending because Max did NOT have a faster car in Brazil and still handed everyone their arses. I’m a fan of Lewis the racer (always have been) & Im very negative on Max’s over the line driving but to say what he said there is stupid. Because Lando & others had multiple chances snd f/d up multiple times. YES all three Should say / & CAN-beat him in equal cars BUT they should ALL admit they need to drive more consistently as HE DID - which Carlos correctly & rightly confirmed.

    • @theelf152
      @theelf152 4 минуты назад

      Im totally unsurprised. Mercedes perform well where they can lower/ stiffen up the car. So a very consistently smooth track with high speeds and more high speed corners is perfect for them. Also Mercedes tyre warm up & maintenance which is critical, has always been a key strength (since their “special” test in May 2013). This is why they excelled at Silverstone and Spa. The minute they have bumps, slower corners, high temps - they are nowhere.

    And no I don’t believe Mercedes will carry this to the next last races. I’m kinda optimistic that they don’t even know why they were fast in vegas. They just hit a good coin.

      It’s not the fastest now that’s for sure and Max is doing an excellent job. But we must also understand that as now 4time champ the team is fundamentally developing the car around his specific talents. ie pointy, and precise front end and a more neutral rear. for his ability to shorten corners and control exits .In fact the only other driver I can think of that loves this is Kimi Raikkonen.
