For financial and pain management (minimizing) reasons I only have two pairs of shoes. I won't pretend that the shoes or where I bought them are environmentally friendly but the way the shoes will be worn into the ground until they are no longer usable definitely will be. My most of the time shoes are a pair of slip on sandles that I picked up at Walmart and have had these for almost 6 years (yes, I know but for financial reasons I am limited in my choices for where I can afford stuff that I know won't anger my multiple severe chronic pain conditions). I have another pair of shoes, a pair of sneakers (I bought them from a sporting shoe store) that were purchased specifically to be worn with my custom made leg/ankle/foot braces. I think the only reason why I don't go through gobsmacks amounts of sneakers is because of how I choose to store my braces (they stay in the sneakers at all times) and how I apply the shoes and braces (I stick my toes into the opening of the shoe and foot plate of the brace and use my body weight to get my foot properly in the foot plate and the leg portion of the brace and then secure the straps of the brace securing my leg in the brace and repeat for the other brace).
I can relate to feeling "naked" without your eyebrows drawn. I am the same with my nose ring. I know literally no one would notice but when I had to take it our for a surgery or a scan I feel so exposed. Funny how we hoomans are:)
@@persephone213 oooh I am not the only one:) when I went into surgery and my partner was all worried and said "how do you feel" I was like "what if I cant put my nose ringe back in afterwards in the ward??" Going under never worried me. So after the procedure when I came back to I spent and hour trying to clip it back (it is a ring and a weird clip) lol.

Hi Gittemary, of course you are entitled to have your boundaries and not oversharing your personal life but my suggestion is to not even mention it as then I'm sure you would get lots of "I hope you are okay...." type of comments which might make you feel under pressure anyway or create some sort of resentment and expectations in your subscribers. I think You should have just stopped after the sentence: "I don't feel like sharing right now" or whatever you said at the beginning 😘 a big hug 🤗 ❤️
