Awesome review Drew! The Envy is an amazing board! That black and green aesthetic is just beautiful. I still can’t get over how great it is for the price. Meepo really knocked it out of the park with this board, and you did the same with your video! 🎉🎉 congrats on the merch too! It looks great!
Had my Envy for a week now and loooooooves it! Took some time to get used to the braking and cuz I’m 230 lbs, I swapped out the bushings, but can’t say anything bad about it! Thanks for the vids, Drew 🤙🏼
I got the Stella S3 but this board is just another perfect beginner board! i now know im addicted to Esk8 and cant stop thinking about it! lol keep putting that money away for my next key to adventure!
Good choice! the S3 is amazing, powerful, torque and decent range! the envy is a great board for a lot of reasons as well. but you made a good choice with the S3 as well my man!
A 25 to 35 miles e board in not a beginner board at that speed you can get hurt so I don't know why you guys always say a beginner board there is no such thing as a beginner board if you can ride at 15 miles an hour that is enough to be a pro because speed doesn't make you a beginner or a pro any skateboard is good for a beginner you just have to be carefully and be responsible just don't get hurt because the price of the board doesn't make a board a beginner board or a pro board
so there are a lot of factors when it comes to "beginner" boards right? price, power, range are the most common attributes. people always ask "how fast does it go, and how far and how much" with any of these boards there are different speed modes for that reason. you can set it on speed mode 1 and ride at a top speed of 7mph, that would be a great learning point for any beginner. than getting more confidence and skill you can climb up in modes reaching a top mode of 4 letting you hit higher speeds quicker. you can get hurt riding at any speed so lets not bring that into factor. "pro" boards i would classify as boards made for certain higher speed areas. boards that can go 35-50 mph, have range of 100 miles on a single charge, price point is reflected in these boards that are upwards of $3000-6000 could a beginner buy that board, absolutely! they can ride it at slower speeds and get comfortable enough to climb up to higher speeds, 100%. I dont think that a person new to the sport though will drop that kind of money on something that they aren't comfortable with, thus putting it into a higher "pro" category lets change this to a car, both a Honda civic and a Lamborghini can get you from point at to point b. but the lambo could do it significantly faster and the price is reflected in that as well, craftsmanship everything about it is just better. the Honda is a great reliable car that also can go fast as well. but for the most part you buy a honda to learn on. not to many of us out here buying lambos as first time car owners....unless you have the money...if so please share haha so yes every board is a beginner board, but some boards will have limitations and you could out grow them as your skill and confidence progresses. when i reccomend beginner boards or " pro" class boards it puts that in a category that lets the audience know what to look for in that board. Personally I love these boards for their affordable prices and power. they offer a lot of bang for buck! higher end boards are something you can get down the road when you are ready for it. so long story short, any board is a beginner board, but not every board is a pro board.
Great review, Can't wait for my ENVY to arrive. This really looks like the perfect board. Nice carving on the street. Was thinking about ordering some larger off road wheels any suggestions?
Thanks so much for checking out the channel! I don’t think you want to go much bigger than 105 size wheels. This really is a street shredder more than an off road board. The squish 90mm wheels that come with it are perfect for eating up the cracks and vibrations on the road as well!
i have a meepo envy too and loving it so far, its so fun to carve with and im thinking of setting it up with some of omni esk8s dkp trucks, i do notice that at high speeds backfoot area gets a bit wobbly tho as my only negative, (im 160lbs) you think if i only switched the back bushings that sort it out?
⚡🤙🏼 *Of all the boards I've seen you carvin on the channel, I think I like how you carve on this one the most!* 🤙🏼⚡ Whether that's the board or cos of you bein so in tune with it, looks 🔥🔥 I'm so glad Meepo now have 2 boards with Hobbywing, pretty much the same ESC and battery on the Envy and Flow, very smart choice by Meepo!! More range on this with the smaller wheels than the Flow... I'm waitin for some belts to put 85 or 90mm wheels on my Flow 😂 I just wanna surf the ground as low as possible lol. 90mm probably better for Flow with my 32T pulley, it's what they got on the Envy. 🤙🏼 My Waah Pah tee can't get here soon enough 😂⚡⚡ PS, you should be able to increase the braking strength a little more using the Tuya smart app!
Thank you so much for the support my man! Truly appreciate it! I think a set of cags would be good on the flow over this board but I’d be willl to try it, and yes they board and I were very much in tune with it. Grippy wheels, flexible deck, RKP just the right amount of power
Hi Drew. I noticed in the video that you swapped out you bearing with different ones. Why did you chose to do that and which ones did you pick I am asking cause I am thinking about doing the same upgrade.
The flow has more of a carve feel, but you could add a waterborne surf adapter to any board for a truer surface feel! I made a video on that adapter against the flow! Check that out!
I’m trying to decide if this board does well over time. I can’t find any updated videos on this board and several people have said they do not recommend MEEPO anymore and that the customer service is terrible and the board trucks broke. Any thoughts?
I mean you have a 1 year warranty with meepo, ( double check website) but I’ve not had plant issues with my boards from them. My meepo hurricane has over 900 miles on and it is still fine!
Thanks dude. I think I’m gonna use the stock 90s and have those 105s as backups ;) looking forward to this board as a firm upgrade after my Jking Jupiter 02 died after less than a month! Lame!!!

Thanks Ronan for check it out!! I agree price per spec it’s a lot of board to love. Thanks so much for the support and compliment as well!!
So stoked to get this board ! Thanks for the review !.

Thanks for the content. I have been watching reviews for the last week and finally decided on the Envy.
Just order it online, cant wait to try it out.
DOPE! I just rode mine today actually how funny is that! It’s just such an amazing board for specs and price IMO
Awesome board, awesome video. Awesome merch … keep the high quality content coming !!
Thanks for the compliment brother, I’ll try to keep up with it!

Great review Drew. Awesome sponsor 🎉
Thanks so much brother! Really appreciate the support !!
Really really want to see this board raced against the voyager to get an idea of its power.
Can do!

The bushings would definitely help sort you out! Omni makes some fantastic products as well
Broov' they just released the glowing version ✨️ it looks like some Green lantern ishh ! Backfire having some hard competition now
Two solid looking boards I definitely agree!!

I didn’t swap out any bearings or bushing on the envy. It came with different color bushings green ones but they are the stock meepo ones
@@DrewEliaoh got it
Which board would say replicates carving on surfboard better the envy or flow. Wapah wapah🤙
The flow has more of a carve feel, but you could add a waterborne surf adapter to any board for a truer surface feel! I made a video on that adapter against the flow! Check that out!
Dude the black and green looks so clean….am i a poet and didnt know it.…just did it again 😅
Hahah you’re just a true poet
@@DrewElia and some could say that beard is exquisite!!
You should do a Envy vs voyager vs zealot x drag race
Can do!!!
I’m trying to decide if this board does well over time. I can’t find any updated videos on this board and several people have said they do not recommend MEEPO anymore and that the customer service is terrible and the board trucks broke. Any thoughts?

@@DrewEliahave you put a lot of miles on the envy?
Just i want to know how much the shipping to Spain??? Can u help me
I don’t know anything about shipping. You’ll have to reach out the the meepo team directly! they should be able to help you
Great value for anyone to enjoy ESK8....❤
Agree a lot of board for this price
Great video! Could you do a VS video of the Envy and the backfire zealot s2? Would love to see that!
Yes I can! I’ll do a quick overview of the both of them for my mid week ride
What a sick lineup of merch! Send me one of your shirts! I'll wear it on my videos and promote for ya! :D
Has anyone added Cyclone 105mm wheels on this board?
I’m sure you could I’m not 💯 about the wheel bite but I’m sure it would fit it. Though I LOVE the feel of the 90mm wheels gummy and grippy
Thanks dude. I think I’m gonna use the stock 90s and have those 105s as backups ;) looking forward to this board as a firm upgrade after my Jking Jupiter 02 died after less than a month! Lame!!!
Thanks for another waaaaaHhhhhhhhh pAaaaaaaaaah contents!
WAAH PAAH!! 😂
At your weight, how much range do you get
Pending my riding status 16-18 miles if I’m just slow cruising maybeeee a little more
Ahhh , now I just watched ur voyager video... looking to getting that now.. what do you think
