He does that every single time he has a chance to pick a colour. And nearly any time he has a chance to change to colour with a duplicate number, he does. Even if he has the proper colour in his hand. It’s very interesting
he actually doesn't, from what I observed he chooses a color he doesn't have to bluff having that color, or switches away from a color to bluff not having it, but when he has a majority of one color and not a lot of other cards he goes for that color so he can actually play
It's so the other players think you have/want that color, so they'll try to switch it if they can, giving you a 1/3 chance of ending on the right color for you instead of a 1/4 chance of failing.
@@IceMetalPunk those stats do not add up. Because if there are 4 players and you make it whatever colour your final card is, there are at least three turns that you have to hope the colour doesn’t change. The chances are much higher than 1/4. I’m not going to even try to calculate every possible probability because it’s way too much work, but you have to think about all 8 cards in the deck that are capable of changing the colour and depending on how many cards some people may have in their hand at any given time, the odds could change drastically. Plus you have to think of all of the numbers of each colour. Each colour has 19 number cards. Two sets of 1-9 and a 0. So with 8 different cards of each number, and 8 different cards to change the colour, and three separate turns with the possibility to change it, and with everybody knowing that you’re on your last card and are probably eager to change it… those odds are probably really high. And that’s not to mention with everybody out to get you, there are 8 skip cards and 8 draw 2 cards and 8 reverse cards that are all likely to be used against you increasing the chances that you’ll have to draw or they’ll change the colour. So it’s probably best to not say your own colour. The odds are stacked against you on that one.

@@WarEagle1023 She's obviously American by her accent. Plus, they mentioned several times in the last board game club video that she's American. When Adam challenged Laurie on that Draw 4 in game 2, he had a blue 3 he could have played, but the game still awarded Laurie the win on the challenge. 🤔
Uno's official rules say that you can only play a Wild 4 if you don't have the color currently atop the discard pile, but also states you are allowed to play it if you have the number on top. With Laurie not having a yellow, that play is considered legal
Good timing just watched is UNO good. The first set are rules are not for me, you should be able to play any card without being challenged & stack +2s & +4s. Both ways take a bit time but for me the more of a cluster the more I have a good time
Used to play something at school like Uno using regular playing cards, but a major difference was being allowed to play runs of cards if it was it was the same number and suit, or if it was the next number in sequence in the suit, so players could shed a number of cards quickly
i challenge rule came from Up UP down down gameplay where they ALWAYS challenge a plus 4 wild. And you get lot of Respect. It more fun online then playing in Real life.
So there is a game called Dude which involves just saying dude to each other, I think it's kind of similar to Happy Salmon, but don't quote me on that!
Them saying "you have to say Uno" every single time really made me mad. The game is known to be buggy and sometimes doesn't work when you press the button. Saying it over and over again just makes you a raging ahole.
Yeah, that's part of the issue - it's not a great game, but it can open up lots of banter which is entertaining and people equate that with the game instead of finding a good game that allows the banter too
Laurie's strategy of picking colors he didn't even have on the +4's is really quite beguiling.

@@PtylerBeats Sure, but I was going with the simplified assumption that fewer than 2 players change the color before your next turn.
Wild Cards & +4s = 50 points
+2s, Skips & Reverses = 20 points
Number Cards are worth there numerical value. If anyone is interested.
The Right Fox was curious how the score worked, thanks

Everyone who’s ever been here on this Channel is awesome but can we all agree? I think we all love Blair
She is absolutely adorable
Yup!
Hearing adam swear makes me weirdly happy 😂
Seems like Blair is getting over. Time to give her a push, Adam.
UpUpDownDown Uno references in three....
Love watching you guys play games together

Adam says never ending game at 15:17 , in uno the movie it’s just warming up
This is...actually good 😂
I hope you guys post the crazy house rules game too.
Poor Laurie!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can this be a weekly show?! That way I get this on Tuesdays and DaParty on UpUpDwnDwn on Wednesdays. That crossover would be awesome, as well.
Is Blair a wrestling fan? I would love to see her on Quizzlemania
Better question is Blair British?
If she's not, she'd still finish above Mr Davis

I was just about to say that, was looking to see if anyone else had first
For some reason, on the online version, it online goes by color, not number.

Once had to use a second deck of uno cards because of the stacking rule. I hate it with a passion but also love it.

The challenge at 9:44 is wrong! He could have played the blue 3. Unless this only checks if you had the same color, which isn’t right.
9:44
Yes it only checks if you have the same colour
The rule is only about color, numbers doesn't matter. Those are classic rules, you know, the one on the instruction.

Blair just bullied Laurie for the whole video and we all just watched. SMH.
Poor Laurie.
Laurie's Strategy is pretty shite, no offense, Uno should be Fakidor
Ok which monster decided to post this video from Laurie's perspective?
Don't get me wrong, this was enjoyable to watch, but UpUpDownDown doing the crazy rules of Uno kinda ruined plain, basic Uno for me
