    Dude, I sold, repaired, mounted, balanced tires at a full service Exxon station, OK? Thst SLICED UP tire CANNOT BE REPAIRED, is NOT SAFE to DRIVE, even around the block.😮

      I agree with you! I still use that tire, but only to sit engines on when I load them in the back of the truck.

    Thanks for your information,what is the meaning of circle E4 on tyres,some tyres have different numbers like E13 etc

    • @C10TruckNerd
      @C10TruckNerd  9 месяцев назад +1

      You bet! The E is for international regulations. The E in circle is for Europe. The number designates the homologations. The 4 would be The Netherlands, E14 would be Luxembourg. Hope that made sense!

    So you are saying the mustang in my shop with two tires from the 70's and two from the 80's are not good?!!!

    • @C10TruckNerd
      @C10TruckNerd  2 года назад +4

      Um…..Yes! Now if it was a survivor and had original tires, I would hang onto them but not drive on them. Have you ever seen what on old tire can do to a rear quarter panel?

      @@C10TruckNerd As a matter of fact, yes!!! I had one take out the rear quarter of my Elcamino

    Amazing video .. I need your help to figure out my problem. I bought a brand new Ford Expedition in Dubai hence no warranty on tires m. It came with 4 new Michelin Primacy XC tires. The whole car slightly shakes between 20 to 60 mph and it’s driving me crazy. Tires are new with only 1000 miles on them. I went to balance the tires and I’ve been told 3 tires are good, the forth one is problematic and they added lots of metal weights but it’s still shaky. What is wrong with it? Is it dangerous to drive with? Does it need to be replaced? Problem they don’t have that tire, so I need to change all four of them.. should i do so ? Note : tire is new and made 2022 and looks fine , so I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it

      Thanks for the support. Every once in a while a new tire could be defective from the manufacturer. Maybe it has a broken belt. I might also have that wheel inspected or have the suspicious tire mounted onto a different wheel and the vehicle and see if it’s the tire or wheel. I hope that made sense.

    So both my front tires are worn like under Lincoln’s head an my back an hood covering his head. Could this be the cause of the squeaking sound coming from what sounds like the right front passenger wheel ??? Right front tire has also had a slow leak forever 🙄

    2:17 out of curiosity can I ask why you chose to say 2018? was this random or do you have some affinity to that year?

      Real numbers. Those were the tires dates on my 2018 Explorer I had at the time.

    Failure to rotate your tires, I have to say I have a car on mobility the dealer will not rotate my tire and the tire dealer who has the mobility contract would not give me my new tires even though I told him they are not working as they should. Also because I have a mobility car we have tires on our vehicles that are not what you would call good, the result of this is my stopping distance is not as safe as other road users.

      Sorry to hear about the run around they are giving you! I drives me crazy when folks speed a lot of money on vehicles and tires and the customer service is poor afterwards. I hope things get better for you soon. Stay safe and thanks for watching!
