ALSO make sure your tiers are under 6 years, The tier starts to dry out and brake down even with perfect tread. You can tell this by the last numbers on your tire exp. 4018, Means it was made in the 40th week of 2018. when you buy new tires make sure they were made in the last year for sure.
i would say for the normal average car driver probably every 50 to 60K. All depends on the tire brand you chose to get. If you go on bumpy roads or mountains then its probably a lot less. And if your tire starts to lose tire pressure often then its time to change it out whenever you possibly can.

Yup! I noticed the low thread of my tires today. I am going to need new tires in a month or two. If only tire prices weren't expensive, I would buy them now.
Same, I went to get my tires aired up and my front tires got low tread. The thing is though only the front 2 tires got low tread, my rear tires are almost as if they were brand new.

Yeah you know nothing about tires, check the valve stem core for leaks. Soapy water helps.
Dude no mention of DRY ROT? That is just as important!
New tires are fucking expensive though. Some people cant fucking afford it so they just say "Fuck it" and keep driving on the same tires
No mention about dry rot or uneven tire wear
Great video 👏
Good advice
50,000 miles is too long to wait. Most tires on new cars can’t last more then 40,000 miles
My tires have a 110,000km warranty so idk if I should change them after the warranty ends or before
If you know that a HUGE STORM is coming to you...STAY HOME!!
That's what I do. I won't go out in this mess

Look into rotating the tires. This evens out the wear of tire tread by moving the back tires to the front. Allows you to replace tires less often
Front tires wear out faster in front wheel drive cars
@@dudefy33That is correct

What happened to the penny test?
What about people who dont have George Washington on their coin?
I heard u can try it with a penny

Some say 6 years max!
Tires last a much shorter time with electric cars because of the weight of the battery.
You can literally see it you don’t need a damn coin
There is a wear bar in the tread of almost all tires now that's when they need replaced
what about off road tires?
You're supposed to use a penny not a quarter....
Not anymore. Using a quarter is the current info. I thought it was a penny too.
@@skyexit4012 there's no current info....the measurements never changed. It's a penny or go buy a tire tread depth mic. These morons just got it wrong.
With a penny, it's too late and you're driving with dangerously worn tires... Using a quarter is a safer and more conservative approach.
