    ALSO make sure your tiers are under 6 years, The tier starts to dry out and brake down even with perfect tread. You can tell this by the last numbers on your tire exp. 4018, Means it was made in the 40th week of 2018. when you buy new tires make sure they were made in the last year for sure.

    i would say for the normal average car driver probably every 50 to 60K. All depends on the tire brand you chose to get. If you go on bumpy roads or mountains then its probably a lot less. And if your tire starts to lose tire pressure often then its time to change it out whenever you possibly can.

      Yeah you know nothing about tires, check the valve stem core for leaks. Soapy water helps.

    New tires are fucking expensive though. Some people cant fucking afford it so they just say "Fuck it" and keep driving on the same tires

    50,000 miles is too long to wait. Most tires on new cars can’t last more then 40,000 miles

      My tires have a 110,000km warranty so idk if I should change them after the warranty ends or before

      When I was on the road a lot I would just pull off the road or exit the freeway during heavy rains. You're just asking for trouble driving through downpours.

      Same, I went to get my tires aired up and my front tires got low tread. The thing is though only the front 2 tires got low tread, my rear tires are almost as if they were brand new.

      Look into rotating the tires. This evens out the wear of tire tread by moving the back tires to the front. Allows you to replace tires less often

    The 4 number date on tires is the date made...the second 2 numbers is the year
    .make sure they are not over 10 years sin e made......2618...2018 would be the year the 26 is what week of that year they were made. I blew a rear tire on my dodge dually tore off finder,bent exhaust completely backwards and almost flipped pulling a trailer at 75mph

    Well...it dont matter if you can stick a silver dollar in there if the date is past 10 years...check the date on your tires. I had tires with full tread fail because they were made 11 years prior...

      With a penny, it's too late and you're driving with dangerously worn tires... Using a quarter is a safer and more conservative approach.

    Swear Americans don’t go through EVERYTHING in a driving lesson or test, in the uk tire tread depth is so important that if you see it balding the slightest, you get it changed or your car will be illegal to drive and you’ll get a ban for driving that vehicle

    For something that isn't too serious I suggest getting tires repaired instead of buying new, which in a way is environmentally friendly and also cheaper. But these are helpful tests!
