The “E-E-A-T” idea is a good thing, for sure. But the thing is not every one of us has (just) a blog about our professional expertise. Maybe I like soccer and I have a soccer blog. Maybe also another blog, about something else. So, I am not a soccer specialyst and I dont want to use my photo and my name and post soccer stuff on my LinkedIn profile. Or maybe I like having review blogs for monetization... and the problem is after Google new core/spam updates, “E-E-A-T” suddenly became a mass destruction weapen for small blogs and projects. In my case, I do digital marketing services and I also run a local digital magazine... now dead. So, the question is, in that matter, for the rest of us... how to survive “E-E-A-T” armageddon?

First of all I'll say I feel you, Google does seem to get confused with EEAT for people if they are "specialists" in multiple things. Hoping it will get smarter over time, but for now we have to try to spoon feed it info as much as possible. Doing this on your own website is a good start, and in a lot of cases, just having businesses tied to real people could be enough as to establish accountability, especially for something like soccer which is quite different than say, health. Second, make sure to establish EEAT not only for people (yourself) but for your brands. If you are saying your digital marketing services company/magazine are now dead because of EEAT, I might start looking for the issue elsewhere! While it does matter at least some and its importance will most likely grow, in a lot of cases there are much bigger signals causing issues with EEAT just being another chip on the pile.
