I love this! I built my own coffee table a couple months ago because I didn’t see anything that I really loved. I have very eclectic but specific tastes and my coffee table suits my home perfectly.

I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to coffee table styling with a variety of styles, but they didn't inspire me like this video did. I immediately started thinking about trays I have (I have quite the collection too). I've been completely immersed in Interior Design since we bought our first house 20 years ago and I cut my teeth on RUclips when I staged our house to sell the first time in 2006. I've been hooked ever since. I've watched a ton of design videos. A ton... Your channel is my favorite. Studio McGee is my 2nd favorite channel. I also love Karin Bohn & Lisa Holt. Valentina I have a whole lot of those fabulous Elle Decor Country magazines ... I almost threw them out a month ago in a major decluttering phase but I’m so glad I kept them. I LOVE them so much..another great video !!
I love different coasters but didnt like just laying them on top of each other. Then I was at a garage sale and saw an English toast holder and thought, " Hmmm, I think this could let me display my coasters upright...and it worked!!

Hi Valentina, like your show. I really looked up from my book when you mentioned opening your coffee table book to reveal a display. When I was in college and could not afford much like fresh flowers for my studio apartment, I would open my Town & Country magazine or House Beautiful magazine on their garden page. I would even display a page on my bed in front a throw pillow. My friends always comment on it and thought I was "clever". That was many many years ago.
Did the same thing with two coffee tables. I was worried that it would look weird and cheap. It looks amazing and super impactful. It is glass and chrome. Huge hit.
I love that you pushed two coffee tables together. I would have never of thought of that. I have been looking for a square coffee table and have only been finding rectangle tables that I like.
I'll admit it, I'm a stuff junkie! I love goodies that go on coffee tables, bookshelves or whatever. I start w good staple pieces(sofa, chairs, etc)& then the fun really begins. It's easier to change out the "goodies" than redecorate all the time! Oh, that camel top looks fantastic on you! Really brings out your summer tan
Very helpful. I just ordered a teak tree root coffee table glass top 40x50. It is beautiful as is looking through the glass at the root design, not sure how to decorate it and not detract from the table

Hi Valentina, I love watching your video's. Me too, I love changing my decor with the seasons. My favorite is the summer, because I have a lot of turquoise (my favorite color) en aqua terracotta pots, beautiful corals (real en false), shells. The sea colours I love. Although my house is mostly monochrome, I have a very dark brown wall in the living room. Every season I change some vases. In autumn it's time for my orange, terracotta colours and wooden objects. In spring it's a lot of green. Winter is mainly christmas decorations. As you lived in Marocco you probably know the Akkal vases. They are amazing. Beautiful colors en pretty shapes.

Love your channel and how you can laugh at yourself! So relatable! I have begun to redecorate into a glam style, and I just purchased a glam tufted couch. I wanted to juxtapose a modern acrylic one piece coffee table in front of it so I’m not overdoing the “fancy”. Now you have me overthinking it to stay with real materials. I already have a classic Bombay table with a marble top in the space. Is it ok to not have a real material for a coffee table. I love the acrylic feet that my new sofa will have and I thought it would echo the coffee table perfectly.
I love acrylic when it’s done right. I have several pieces from kartell and they are so fun to mix in! Main thing on acrylic is to look for that high end look but sticking to your personality is always 👍🏽👍🏽❤️
Several years ago I was able to find a glass & metal coffee table and console table (Walmart and Amazon) that look exactly like the Pottery Barn Tanner tables for about 1/3 the cost!
