I'm not this far into the Playlist, I just wanted to say thank you for the loads and loads of content man
yeah fr tru3ta1ent makes like 10 vids a day man.
It seems to me killers are chasing too much, all the cook had to do was ensure TrU3 couldn't get the fuse switch on and he was screwed, the best family strat seems to be:
Cook feeding grandpa regularly, listening for survivors, patrolling and pad locking the fuse switch area and immediately turning it off if the survivors manage to hit the switch.
Hitchhiker patrolling and trapping the generator and car battery, these objectives take longer for survivor to complete giving hitchhiker time to loop between and guard them. Although it initially seems the hitchhiker has the best chase he's actually just wasting time going on big chases and is not suited to being a primary kill threat, he just needs to defend the battery and generator well, and the pressure tank if he can freeing up Bubba for the kills.
Bubba patrolling the pressure tank and being the primary kill threat when convenient. As survivors wear down from attrition and grandpa gets levelled up Bubba can go on the offensive.
If done this way effectively all survivor exits are covered and it's a game of attrition until survivors lose to grandpa max levelling or manage a lucky escape while killers are otherwise distracted.
don't think it'd work out since one instance of hitchhiker leaving say back gate and that's someone turning off car battery and connie blitzing the gate open if they managed to get around, which wouldn't be difficult to do if cook is mostly protecting fusebox on 2nd floor (one survivor effectively incapacitates him) and leatherface comes to assist
but will be a while before connie players stop blowing their ability on superfluous stuff like the generally free basement exit open with her speed and instead mass unlock doors without actually opening them 'til cook gets grandpa awake or most the exits are unlocked so victims' routes out of basement are massively obscured
@@Evalora You're right the survivors then have to split their effort unlike current killer teams basically leaving entire objectives uncontested so as long as the survivors have to work hard for an escape the match is competitive.
There obviously can be no absolute gaurentee of stopping escapes otherwise the game is pointless.
Connie on the other hand I sense a nerf incoming for her especially because her early game is so crazy.
@@Evalora I think also the Gen and Battery should start already connected, so Hitchhiker can focus on clever trap placement and Cook can optimize his padlock setup, everything that can slow the victims adds up.
@@JohnDoe-ix4kx probably how that'd go is padlock side door out + two routes to fusebox and trap core 'vaults' on 1st/2nd floor, which only takes them about 30 sec and then all three are in the basement to get likely two or three fast kills from pincers and whoever's left is doomed
@@Evalora So far there's a decent amount of potential in the different strats that I'm hopeful this game can be really fun especially if the devs commit to fixing and balancing issues as they appear.
I like the idea of the games balance leaning into survivors focused on stealth and killers focused on map control. When perks and abilities become customisable it may open up even more strat possibilities.
In any case I've enjoyed the gameplay so far, I'm rooting for this game to be a success.
I’m really excited to see what all they change and improvise after the play test see what all the developers take away from this.
Game looks insanely fun looking forward to playing it myself when it comes out hopefully the devs don't mess up this game hopefully maybe controller supported as well would be nice since i don't like keyboard and mouse haha

@@bumavacado8045 i see. So it's for one door only? I thought it's for the duration of the skill. Haven't played it yet so I dont know :D
@@ThisIsJeer yea totally okay! when u are on a door you have the option to use her skill and instantly unlock that one door! it does take your stamina for a short time so thats why her skill turns purple, hope this helped!
They didn't lock it, it had just opened, if you look at 16:16 you can see down the hallway of freedom...

@@eagleseye1199 nah its just the door in front of you aka the blue one. If thats open the moment you step past the door youve escaped :p

Well, jokes on you... RUclips algorithm like these types of titles with caps lock on and pushes them to more people. So he's just being smart
I'd like to get the grandpa mechanic improved a bit, i don't know, different bonuses and such
Also they need to add dmg to survivors when they crawl or climb over stuff, please, even just a little bit
there's three slots next to him so presumably he'll have bonus stuff in the future
the game is already killer sided enough, also remeber this isnt the final game so be patient gramps will get more
@@bumavacado8045 i mean, i wouldn't say that when you can win in 60 seconds if connie blitzes open a door for you and you run up with a lockpick, grab fuse, aren't intercepted to fusebox since this all happens in the span of like 20 seconds and only cook's really around, throw the switch and the 3 other victims immediately get out + the odds of you being stopped from reaching basement exit being pretty low as well
you can also die in seconds if you sprint straight into leatherface at the start after he's got chainsaw going and you find yourself now with little stamina taking massive damage hits in short order, it's not anything 'sided'
@@Evalora i mean its risk reward as you said, like you COULD do that, also rng plays a factor too. i assume connie will also be nerfed but if u saw the stats from the first day there were about three times more kills than escapes
@@bumavacado8045 nerfed or not the most absolute mechanic against victims in the game is the barriers in their way, activatables, traps and locks, and connie will likely still be able to remove one of the latter very quickly, and it's not like it comes with no downside it completely destroys your stamina for a short while but extremely powerful in the right circumstance nonetheless
