The only reason Im looking into mass gainers is because I just had braces put on. Im all time hungry, but I can eat only soft foods like soups, pasta, rice, anything else hurts too much. Had to stop going gym for time being, as I don't want to loose even more weight.
Although they say not to chew gum, I’ve found that sugar free gum is really helpful. If you consistently chew gum your teeth will get used to the braces allowing you to chew harder food more comfortably

I know your question is 4 months old, but I would avoid any mass gainer OR protein powder with whey concentrate (seems like most of these gainers use concentrate), since there's a good few grams of carbohydrates which happens to be mostly (I think) lactose. Whey isolate usually has almost all of it filtered out. Not all, but close, you're practially getting less than a gram of lactose per 1 or 2 scoops of whey isolate. And if that's still too challenging on your gut, you can try hydrolyzed whey, the most heavily filtered and processed form of whey. It's basically pre-digested for you. Even less lactose than isolates, and almost all people with allergies to the albumins in isolates or concentrates should have no issue.
Get serious mass you will surely put on mass, and make sure you exercise well. If you start gaining weight and you want to tone it down switch to ordinary wey protein and you will lean up back. But serious mass is the way👍

It all depends on how active you are really. I wouldn’t recommend it as it may give you a bit of a belly.... depending on your metabolism unless you want to use that mass later on when/if you start training which would be a good start for training as you have that mass to shape and sculpt👍🏻

Animal pak 1 a day is great not need to take 2. Yes take animal with a gainer BUT work out different muscles every 2 days and EAT. You should get i.g.

I think he should take HMB 2-3g, with some protein (minimum 20g daily). Talk with the doctor first. Ask him for this combo.

It all depends on how active you are really. I wouldn’t recommend it as it may give you a bit of a belly.... depending on your metabolism unless you want to use that mass later on when/if you start training which would be a good start for training as you have that mass to shape and sculpt👍🏻

Been there too , do full body workouts. Look into the 5x5 workout. Buy serious mass if you have trouble eating. I did and it helped me. Take fish oil pills , and ZMA by optimum nutrition.

I stopped using since it gave me some stomachache but its not that bad stomachache. I think its cause of dairy idk tbh. Anyways its kind of a waste of money. The scoop is so big and you have to take more than one scoop to achieve 1000+ cals. I prefer normal whey protein and eating the cals from real food.
