I love this relationship, the journey they had. But most of all I love that they portrayed an adult relationship, as in someone getting with a divorced woman with 2 children and that being not a big deal, it tends to happen more often than movies and shows let on and I think it's one of the legacies of this show.
I still love how Amy found happiness again and a better lifestyle. Jonah finally started a relationship with her after waiting for the right time for so long. Love how he understood her. They're a great couple and both of their individual struggles were pretty realistic.
Anybody else notice that the lady at the end that interrupts Jonah and Amy’s kiss is the same lady that interrupts Amy at the very beginning of the series when Amy is trying to tell Cheyenne “don’t do something that you’re going to regret for the rest of your life.” Go back and watch it. We’ve come full circle, y’all
She also appears as an equally entertaining character on Brooklyn 99. She shows up as a colorful Floridian who wants to blackmail two of the main characters. Her name is Betsy Sodaro. She's pretty hilarious on all the things I've seen/listened to her on.
their relationship is one of the most realistic and healthy ever shown on television. I actually loved their ending so so much, when Amy moved away for the chance of her lifetime, and Jonah stayed behind. Amy said no to marrying Jonah cause' she had too much on her plate at the moment, but also understood Jonah deserved better. Jonah also became less of a people pleaser and more of a person who puts himself first before everyone else. They loved each other so much but knew what needs to be done. It hurts, but it's the right thing to do. This is real life, you cannot have it all, you gotta let go of some thing in order to have anything. It's sad, but it's true. Thank you Amy and Jonah for showing such a wonderful relationship!!! Love the show.
I love sit-com couples in general. Because they are just so fun to watch, as if you are watching a rom-com. But after I watched b99, I wasn't sure if I could invest in any other sit-com couple other than Peraltiago. But omg Jonah and Amy actually did surpass peraltiago for me. I mean idk how to explain it but somehow their relationship was fun to watch but also actually addressed the problems between them and what they were going through individually. Just finished the last season yesterday and I was jumping with excitement that they got married in the end and did the things they both wanted to do. I think they were supposed to be the typical sit-com couple but then the writers and the actors actually put in some really great ideas to make them more special.
amy and jake are genuinely still one of my favorite couples of all time, ive watched b99 maybe 15 times and they never get old. i finally went back and rewatched superstore and amy and jonah are just the sweetest i love them genuinely so much. they are both some of the best couples of all time.
Their first kiss gives me butterflies and the scene where they break up and then get back together makes me cry every single time. I can't put into words how much their relationship warms my heart 💓
The final scene is so moving. I know a lot of people were moved by her scene in Barbie but for me this hits harder. 💕 I guess that’s the power the slow burn.
Not even the best one involving America Ferrera imo, but on the other side of that coin she is also one half of my actual favorite “ship”. I put ship in quotes because it’s not a ship, it’s a very clear development of two soulmates portrayed perfectly from childhood into adulthood.
I. Will. Never. For as long as I live and breath. Forget. Watching their ✨livestream✨for the first time. My soul left my body and I absolutely PERISHED. As a shipper you always imagine the moment your couple goes canon… never in my wildest DREAMS did I think Amy and Jonah would be FILMED during their heated canon✨moment✨ I couldn’t believe NBC. And it wasn’t just another KISS. It was the whole damn thing… They gave us everything and I will forever be grateful.
Let’s be honest, we’ve all had a “work spouse” I just loved how they slowly let it grow, build, decline and then ended up giving us a happy ending. It was so beautifully slow, awkward, and mistimed (purposely) that it made it feel realistic. Ben and Americas chemistry was 🔥 as was the whole cast. Damnit…guess im going to restart it AGAIN.
Still my favorite relationship of all time. As I get older and have less patience for onscreen toxic relationships, I find that i cant rewatch a lot of my favorite shows growing up because I now recognize how abusive most of the pairings are. But I know i will always be able to rewatch this show.
Why are so many clips being uploaded recently, is the show coming back? At first I thought it was because of the 1 yr anniversary of the finale, but that was in March...
God can I please have love like this. I'm not perfect like jonah I don't think I'm like him. But I mean I know people find me annoying and I'd imagine finding something like this with someone like Amy.
I love this show and i only started watching this show 3 weeks ago and im on Superstore Season 3 episode 15 Edit: i got To Season 6, Episode 8 but for some reason it got deleted from my netflix
Just a question: Why does Amy always have different names on her name tag? Maybe there's a context but I don't have access to the series here... Thanks!
She doesn’t like any of the customers at Cloud 9 to know her actual name because she feels like then the customer would want to talk/interact with her as if they were “friends” so every episode she wears a different name so the customers can’t identify who she really is 😂
If you see the logo of an item, it means the company paid to have their logo shown. Eg: someone is drinking a can of soda. If the logo is for Coke, you know that the Coca Cola company paid to have their product placed in the scene. If you see the can but not the logo, nobody has paid, and the pop can was just a prop.
Honestly it still bothers me how dirty they did Jonah's character. Amy letting Jonah co parent Parker was a massively selfish thing to do if marriage wasn't an option. I understand she never got to explore other possibilities and was stuck in life but it feels insane that you'd let someone uproot their life and move across the country with you and not consider marriage seriously. She should have atleast had that discussion before making these huge decisions that impacted both their lives. Seems like a selfish way to treat your SO. Unlike Jake Amy/ Jim Pam/ Ben Leslie where you see both the couples equally falling for each other and making compromises, it never really felt like Amy cared as much for Jonah as he did for her.
Please you have to understand that this was not the plan when the show was originally written. They had to improvise because America was leaving. The only way they would have gotten what you want was if Ben also left the show which wouldn’t have been fair.
I disagree. Jonah kept his distance and even got into another relationship to allow Amy to work on her marriage. If anything, Amy rebounded with her own ex husband because she was pregnant before she kissed Jonah in an attempt to explore their feelings.
That “why do you think Amy” hit her as hard as the stars on the ceiling.

Yep. Especially the ones in the first seasons where they were giving us crumbs of Amy and Jonah
@@Key-sh7czagreed! 💯

yeh and its just as cringe in real life as in films. Its called cuckholdry. Besides Kelly was way hotter.
I still love how Amy found happiness again and a better lifestyle. Jonah finally started a relationship with her after waiting for the right time for so long. Love how he understood her. They're a great couple and both of their individual struggles were pretty realistic.
pretty cuckholdry of Jonah to settle with someone whos pregnant with another mans baby. lame.

They did wind up together...
That's not the ending what show did you watch
you must not love the show that much, because you didnt describe the ending whatsoever. they end up together tucking their kids in to bed.

Isn’t it awkward because they’re both married?
No, they’re actors, this is their job, not real life.
