If I can come to the point that I am not a person...
    I am not a body...
    that there's nothing and
    that there's nobody else.
    Then I can recognize
    myself as the Ultimate
    Consciousness...
    I will disipate into my
    true nature.
    And there will be no
    reason to reincarnate
    to dissolve any
    remaining beliefs.

After one year, now what I understand is that only the Mind reincarnates not the character. Only the
      mental fixations, the
      beliefs, the thoughts
      that had not been
      observed. The ego is a
      cloudster of thoughts
      and beliefs. And the ego
      is only energy.

Rupert tends to speak in a way that feels CRYSTAL CLEAR, and although at times out of reach, with contemplation, I can make that reach- and experience an expansion that rings true.
When I hear Tony Parsons speak it often feels like a riddle spoken by a man who belongs to a club of which I am not part. One talk is as confusing as the next yet they are pointing to the same TRUTH. Yes?
When hear people speak of Ruperts teaching there is a sense of clarity while those who speak of Parsons express bewilderment and frustration.
Question: Has anyone here ever made sense of what Parsons speaks- and is it the same as what is spoken of here? And if so, can anyone explain why Parsons/Newman are so confusing?

If there's only one mind, and we're all that mind, then regardless of whether I find peace now or now, I, as in the one mind, will still experience all the suffering of all the poor people and animals who are and will suffer, and who haven't found peace. I like this channel and agree with a lot of this stuff, but I am uncomfortable with the suggestion that my overriding concern should be to find peace for myself, rather than to help others insofar as I can, to reduce their suffering. If I, on a deep level, AM all of those others (and I believe that I am), then surely easing their suffering should be as important as finding peace for "myself". Of course, I can do both of those things; but I don't think finding inner peace should be seen as more important than addressing the material circumstances of that are actually causing suffering for people (and animals).

You may want to investigate Pema Chödrön, who is an American Tibetan Buddhist. Many of what she teaches is very much in line with what you have written. One of my favorite quotes from her is “The ego seeks to divide and separate. Spirit seeks to unify and heal.” - Pema Chödrön

@Gil Monteverde A great deal of the world's suffering arises from material circumstances. If we try to improve those circumstances through practical and/or political action, in order to reduce suffering, then I'm not how that could be construed as insulting... unless done in a patronising way, or a way that does not respect others' automony.
For example, wildfires are a material circumstance in the world, and they cause real suffering. If I have the expertise and ability to help put out wildfires that are currently raging, but choose not to lend a hand because I think the fire is too big and it's futile to help and I'd better just focus on my own inner peace, then haven't I just foregone an opportunity to prevent suffering? And if there is only one mind, then isn't it really *my* suffering that I have chosen not to prevent?
And if that's the case here, then why isn't it also the case for various other forms of others' suffering and other forms of practical action to alleviate these?

@@maximumrobocop4935 Your overriding concern should be to have no concern. If everyone had no concern then there would be nothing to be concerned about, lol. It's like the illusion of a 3rd person video game; it's called 3rd person because you see from behind the person you're playing as, but in reality you don't leave the first person perspective (being.) It's the same illusion in everyday life; every person is constantly being from that same first person perspective, and occurring inside that being is the mind which tells us that something is happening outside of that being (illusion).
You see a wildfire; is the problem that there is a wildfire or is the problem that your mind does not want there to be a wildfire? If you didn't mind the fire there would be no problem for you. If the man who's house burns down didn't mind that he lost his house there would be no problem for him either.
As for foregoing opportunities to prevent suffering, you can do that as much as you please. You don't have to choose your peace or theirs. Personally I'm of the belief that manifestation is fractal in nature and that the eventuality of that suffering will play out no matter what I do, and also because of what I do. The difference between stabbing and sewing a person isn't a singular choice, it's the result of every choice that's ever been made. Sorry to pop off on your thread brother, live and let die, don't worry be happy, acceptance is what we are not what we do, much love brother peace

Reincarnation happens, but not for your little separate self. The Self/Absolute (and you are that) has been reincarnating likely for eternity. It is a constant cycle of birth, maintenance, and destruction, back to its seed form (involution), before evolving again in whatever new form it moulds from itself. Macrocosm/microcosm.

    Interesting
So this current ego is like an amalgam of the infinite consciousness.
So “I” don’t come back (my ego personality).
But only “I” as the great I Am “comes back” because I Am is always there/here.
It seems to contradict the verse that says everyone will be called.
Or it seems to contradict the verse where the character Jesus says And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
Also seems to contradict what Neville Goddard spoke of in his story of being born again from above (the skull).
    Just observing both models

    • @pedrogonzales9202
      @pedrogonzales9202 3 года назад

I’ve often thought about this because both of these teachers have affected me deeply. I think it may be a way that consciousness filters through a particular filter and somehow arrives at its own expression. Neville is the only one ever where I heard of being born again from within the skull. At the same time he said over and over that consciousness is all there is. Pure consciousness, awareness is the un-manifested all that is yet expresses as form in the time/space dimension or elsewhere. In the unmanifested state thee is no skull or baby. Somehow they are symbolic, and quite a bit further out in a way that I have not experience nor understand.
Neville spoke with such conviction and authority and produced a vast body of work- yet until the Internet age was obscure. It is odd to me that I never hear anyone like Rupert mention Neville. He is truly a colossal spiritual force barely mentioned.
Neville took the “New Thought” movement 1850-1930 to a completely new level. Today he is exploded on the Internet scene with now dozens of channels devoted to his teaching as well as offering products and coaching.
His “Power of Awareness” is a masterwork as well as “Your Faith is Your Fortune”.

I’m sorry, Rupert’s answer is incomplete and totally misguides this lady’s beautiful and perennial question…. I agree, at the point of death, our life energies dissipate, but resume a new life, this is the cycle of birth and death. However, when we experience the event of Ultimate Enlightenment during life, this ensures that our death becomes our final death, which means we do not resume life back in the shape of form, our life energies merge into formless Existence for eternity. Coming back is process of evolution, taking form can be described as punishing in comparison to formless existence, hence why awakening from the dream world is essential, so that our death becomes our final death. Enlightenment is an unbreakable law in Existence, Enlightenment (death before death) experience is what assures eternal life. These new age non-dual teachers lack the depth of mysticism, partly because they knowledge does not exceed past Self-realisation.

This is all about who you Truly are, and not what you Think you are...
Thinking of being something is not being it at all, and of course, to the point of view of being just one of the many bodys that existed in time, there is no sense to ask for a purpose other than as you said, just "be" a part of it, because you already know that "you" (a cluster of thoughts) will end in the future.
But in Ruperts aproach, what makes "You" (everything that cannot be taken or removed at the moment of death) is not "something" that appears in life, life appears in "that". So it has no limits, no borders, no end, and ultimately neither beggining.
From there, the purpose to a life that recognizes it, is the "training" through the teachings, to make the "regression" to it, and it is something done With the mind, but that doesn't happens In the mind, it happens in what you Truly are.
      Love from Argentina.

@Gil Monteverde We all live life. So basically you are a loving force that acts upon the world. Most and foremost we cultivate our own body mind using that positive energy. We continuously try to push the body mind on a higher level. Eventually you reach a level, as this body mind, in which the problems become so small, that the positive feelings and the peace creates a bigger picture in which you, that then develops a true sense of loving life. Then you will say, I live life. Then the world becomes a playground. The motivation to be alive is to feel joy. Lets assume you were asked to be born. You could only say yes or no. Since you were born, you said Yes initially. So basically you are a Yes sayer. We struggle, sure - but we dont really notice that when shit hits the fan we still accept most of it and go on (in time so to say). Now when suffering comes you reject and want to say No by this. However you dont commit suicide. You believe because of a fear of death. But this is only one component. Essentially you push on because of a fear and out of love. But we dont notice this feeling of love at this point (it is overshadowed by the fear). Essentially all feelings are magnitude of energy which can be polarized from bad to good.
