Holy crap this guy got his money's worth. I almost unsubscribed from neace a few videos ago when he seemed uninterested in coaching, but the quality is back.
It hurts my soul to see Brand players start their combos with W. W is fine for poking. But when you're going in for a full combo, always start E-Q. If you miss the stun, back off. If you hit the stun, 100% chance to hit your W. And since they are burning, your W does increased damage. And since you hit 3 abilities, your passive procs. So much more damage if you lead with E-Q. When I play Brand support, I get the enemy pissed off with my bush control and constant poke. They step too close to the bush because they're irritated, they get full combo'ed and die. You have to be careful against a Maokai though. His W range is roughly the same as your E. So you have to lead with E, and expect him to W. Wait for it, then back up and hit your Q and continue the combo. If you mash your buttons without thinking about it, you will miss the Q while he is untargetable in his W.

My friends literally shit on me all the time when I make a mistake and even when I literally play perfectly cs, dmg and objective control they are like "nah you couldve still done this thing better"
I wish LOL community would separate casual and ranked play. Sometimes it’s fun to just play and not have a bunch of nitpicking when there is a misplay or macro mistake. If your goal is to climb though you have to used criticism to your advantage and try to change for the better. @@NeoMaddy very true, I hate adc's with a passion and brand is so perfect if you want to carry yourself. The thing I hate tho is when i get KSed mid or sup. I NEED THOSE KILLS TO SCALE BRO
@@BlueFireDudester if you play supp you give kills with no exception. If u take all the kills as support u kinda just lose the game cuz ur carries have no dmg and you can't help them cuz u are brand. If you play mid then I guess it makes sense to take kills.
@@BlueFireDudester the whole point of support is not needing kills to scale
@@BlueFireDudester Then you don't like playing support if you want to be a greedy player. As support you want to give kills to your laners/jg unless it's necessary for you to take the kill in order to secure it.
I’m learning so much from this channel. I love his work
I had dc'ed on a game and came back but i was lvl 1 ww jg i forgot who enemy jg was but they were lvl 3 and that simple in and out the bushes allowed me to kill the enemy jg everyone on my team was freaked out. But being able to stop those auto attacks and jump at em with a e for damage-sustain is freaking great.
Brand also has a lot of tools during mid to late game to check brushes without face-checking them. Use his W and/or Q to avoid some scenarios where you dont have to facecheck and get OS
I main support and this taught me a lot of what I was doing wrong, brilliant video!
I feel like most "aggressive" support players in low elo just mean they like to coin flip lane and just charge at the enemy bot hoping they don't retaliate with their abilities in even a semi-intelligent way.
Definitely loved this video since I'm a brand onetrick. Would love to see more of the poke mage support concepts from you
BTW I def made it to the middle of the video, its too good to miss
28:24 "go forward" > "You're not playing far enough back"
"I'm a very aggro support"
*proceeds to play brand*
which is the point
"U like dat or no? "
Heyyy thank you so much for existing, your videos hauled me out of the deep slimy ebony abyss of discomfort thinking I could never leave low ELO, hopefully one day I save up just enough to get a coaching lesson. Since I'm self conscious about my voice, would it be okay if I mute and and communicate through chat and pings? Keep up the great work man!!!!
As a support main myself, watching some of his early game was rough, but I am so happy to see some coaching of support like this. Its great. I found your channel because of Rav, and I am super happy I did. Love it, keep it up~ u like dat or no? :P
I need a Neace telling me facts n not beat around the bush. I love how he's just straight up with a small addition of tough love.
Wonderful coaching!! love your videos very informative.
27:04 dude read him look a book 😂😂
He was waiting in that bush for him haha
I've had people say the same thing except they're my adc. "Im an aggressive adc" /watches them attempt to turret dive the enemy duo botlane at level 2 and then proceeds to yell at the jungler who was helping top for not being down there to help.
HAHHA, best part of the whole video. "Ward Dragon, wrap around behind and ward.. Stand in pixel bush by drag..." (Random Garen in bush) Neace: "Whao WTF is that!!!"
I don't really play MOBA's other then some casual smite occasionally. I know these videos are potentially just a small portion of the actual coaching more like live test runs I'd imagine. Taking criticism well is the perfect start to improving in anything and I love your approach to relaying information. Ranting sorry lol great videos man very entertaining.
When his team reacted to baron ping I was like no way 🤣
This would be such an uncomfortable position to be in as the student, but honestly this would be such a valuable session. He just flames every error in your micromechanics that are massively affecting his improvement.
he wasnt flaming it was extremely constructive criticism. if you think criticism is flaming then you have a problem. lol
@@Simulator51 You’re a strange person
I'm a main support since before season 1, that my bruddas is what we call "a toxic support", a solitary creature that lives in the wastelands.
a rare species indeed.
@@niksy80 sadly not so rare. I wanted to try out tryndamere mid, play against Kassadin. I didn't play good and got ganked. Went 0/2/1 in Lane, thought was fine, just tried something and it didn't work out first try. At min 20 this 1/7 brand starts pinging and flaming me like crazy. He even asked in all chat to report me. He went 1/12/7 at the end of the game and flames the whole game.
@@jonathanbauer9279 Well just brands players LUL but i honestly dont see many toxic supports unless some brands or luxes
Did you expect a brand player not to flame? That's their thing.
@@olafthemoose9413 I mean the dude is literally on fire
My friends literally shit on me all the time when I make a mistake and even when I literally play perfectly cs, dmg and objective control they are like "nah you couldve still done this thing better"
Well if you're silver you're definitely not playing perfectly that's for sure bro
I wish LOL community would separate casual and ranked play. Sometimes it’s fun to just play and not have a bunch of nitpicking when there is a misplay or macro mistake. If your goal is to climb though you have to used criticism to your advantage and try to change for the better. This is becoming a “solved” game where the resources are there to get as far as you can if you put in the work. I stopped caring at gold rank because i have more valuable things I like to pour effort into like my music and job... climbing higher would require a serious grind and skill improvement that i am not interested in developing
I mean if you're playing perfect CS'ing, doing damage in fights and looking for windows to do damage and controlling objectives perfectly then you should be hard carrying in the majority of your games even if your team/friends are shit and shitting on you.
@@floridaman6982 if u have good draft mmr it can be very similar to ranked
@Not Really tho Nobody goes from D1 to S3. They boosted bruv
Thanks for the free brush control coaching, serious words of wisdom.
Love the notes throughout the video
thanks so much you made me have fun more in LOL after learning a lot from your videos
Very interesting ! Is your coaching adapted to those who have been playing recreationally ? I am considering a session!
He coached someone's mum who just wanted to be better than her kids so yeah XD
ofc man, I handle whatever the skill range. :) I have no problem adjusting
@@Justme-ip3wc oh wow ! i need to see this !
This isn't important, but how did that Garen get in that bush? like, even if Neace didn't see that garen bush camping coming. I can't even imagine anyone else seeing that coming. It was pretty funny XD
'Ill bully a lane as fuckin Yummi' Chad status right there
"You're walking like you are Gumby around the map. I don't like Gumby."
great coaching neace can see the value in it!
26:23 “wtf is that? Lol weird azz garen in a random bush” lol
Making mistakes is okay. Having a bad game where you ran down is also okay. But as soon as you start to blame others for everything is where this line is crossed
The insightful comment text is of great value
This is great coaching ! Keep it up man
Really like the tips on the screen, i like dat, keep it up
5mins in first video i watch already like this guy, feel like i learned a lot just by this lol
