Neace is one of the most quality individuals I've ever seen on this platform, and especially in this game's community. I'm certain this guy chose to get coaching from neace, not because of neace's skill level and not because of his own need for it. I feel this guy chose to go to neace because he is, and always has been a man of integrity and a man who sees the bigger picture. Listening to their conversation at the end really shows how much neace respects not only this guy, but also service people in general. If you've ever watched his video explaining his story you'd know that Neace, and his wife both served. He knows the ins and outs of how fucking hard that lifestyle can be. This is why I watch his content.

Like, I got paid, I got free medical and housing, I got to travel and do/see a lot of really bad ass stuff. Sure there were hard times (more so for some of us) but we didn't do it for the thanks. Duty, Honor, Sacrifice, Semper Fi.
No u did it bcause you needed a job no ? Because in my eyes its just a job u choose for nothing else. There is no pride in protecting your country by making others unsave. We are equal
@@LeTim013 Serving in the military is not "just a job" though. Just because some of us don't expect/desire thanks for our service doesn't diminish our sacrifices. I could have as easily flipped burgers or sold socks at wal-mart without signing a 4 year contract or being deployed for months at a time. Those are "just jobs" but I wanted more. I wanted to prove I was capable. I served as much for myself as any other citizen, so I don't need to be thanked for it but that doesn't make us equal, lol.

@@shubhod9569 No, not "well" lol. But most don't enlist for the $$$. Most enlist because they feel a sense of duty. The pay is acceptable but not incredible when you consider a 40 hour work week, but go ahead and get deployed and be on 12-16 hour shift in a hot and sweaty combat zone and get no "overtime" lol... That pay becomes less impressive. My point of this whole reply was that there are some vets who enlisted for much more than a "thank you" and some people seem to make thanking a vet more about themselves.

damn. i even needed to hear that for myself. i been thinking coaching. and good on you for being a real human and understanding his own financial situation.
Pretty sweet looking out for a brother in arms. I agree, just game and have fun. Rank comes with time. Also, a big mistake I see a lot of veigo players making is not taking advantage of the E movement speed to get around the map and clear faster with the attack speed. I havent done any hard math but I like to put the E on one of the walls that touch the fountain to get to the jungle faster when going to gromp or gollums.
This is terrible advice. Climbing is not about having fun, especially for the average player whose definition of having fun is aramming in mid and winning 1v1s. Improper practice can create fatal habits. It's honestly why many of these coachings are actually hopeless... because the clients have played and had fun too long, conditioning themselves with horrible habits. If you have any intention of actually climbing... DO NOT just game and have fun. Treat the game like a job, watch your replays, and be very hard on yourself a lot. Again... this is just if your sole goal is to climb. I am not at all against playing the game just for fun, but it's insane to think you are gonna climb just "having fun" unless you are incredibly gifted, in which case it's still not really a repeatable strat...
@@anthonyfaiell3263 for the average player, having fun is exactly how you climb. If you're not having fun, there's no reason to be playing. If you're getting tilted, you'll play worse. If you're an average player, you have TONS of growing to do just on learning all the various damage ranges and limit tests out there that only come with time and experience. May as well have fun doing it. This is much, much different from say someone looking to get into the professional leagues or making streaming a career. Which even then if you don't enjoy the game it's likely never happening, you'll burn the fuck out way too quickly. Serious does not exclude fun. Learning does not exclude fun. Dedication does not exclude fun.
@@noobgoestrapping5084 Aight dude, tell that to the 90% of players sitting in gold or lower having a whole buncha fun. So is your point just that only 1% of the community or so is playing this game to have fun? . Most players play league to have fun, and most players are in gold or lower. Having fun does not lead to climbing. Extensively focusing on tiny micro/macro mistakes to improve and deliberately making those changes in your gameplay on a game to game basis is how you improve, this takes work and effort. It doesn't just "magically happen by having fun." They can have fun while improving, but the improvement isn't just going to naturally cause fun for everyone. . Edit: Not sure why you chose to derail my point into "you can't have fun and climb at the same time." Which is absolutely not at all what I'm saying. The original point was to "just play the game and have fun, rank will come with time." This implies that fun and time are the only two factors here. If you really want to argue against that, feel free. But please don't change my words like that.
I am impressed by the amount of chill his team had. I've had team mates giving up after first blood, but his team stood up their ground no matter how hard they seemed they were losing. I wish I'd see more of this mindset in my games.
I think it was mostly because they had no idea what was basically going on most of the time xD..... They had a good team comp I mean. Ez could have won if played 20 or 30 % better. Maby throw some wards to avoid Zac colliding into bot all the time and xerath just kiting back the Zac more often... But yes pretty chill... 😁

@@sonicboom564 dude what? if you're below gold you don't need coaching. if you aren't even gold you are literally only a beginner. anything below gold or plat can be fixed by free youtube videos and guides lol

Never done much ranked because of life situations (hello 180ms ping, I'm looking at you). But I've taught a lot of friends how to play. :3 And I always do what I can so that they can focus on just playing and getting the hang of the game. this guy kinda reminds me of me... back in 2014 i was all over the place with League... but League came around when I had to chose what the heck I am gonna do with my life.. so bcuz i didn't finished studies and couldn't get a good job, i joined seasonal work at some fruit farm in Spain... being away from home 4 months every year made me drop in skill gap so badly... this happened for 3 years... when i stopped my league appeal was over.. and never managed to climb more than Gold now i still play but arams only.. and is like Neace said ''just enjoy and don't give a damn'' well for us who are not too good at the game is a big struggle to enjoy in ranked games... cuz of the pressure to give our best... that's why i think the best thing League could do for ranked system is to allow only mains to play.. like having 100k experience points on a champion to be able to play ranked... yes it will increase the time you wait to play.. but u will get only the best out of those games..
I think he did get a lot of value in this game though tbh. He got those early kills through the guidance to red smite and pick a good fight. He also got a ton of valuable info on how to counter jungle when he saw Zac bot-side too. I'm sure he learned a ton from this.
subscribed today for a number of reasons after a long time of peeping lol.....sometimes i don't feel there's something i can take away from all your videos since i main jungle and a small pool of champs, but the advice you give that applies in general to the game and people and mental in general, has helped me a lot, i appreciate you
Watching Neace prior to this video kinda made me way self-conscious as a semi-casual Gold midlaner, for putting a lot of time into the game while not taking it super seriously and just doing my best with where I am and with gradual improvement. This video was really cool, because it made me feel better about how I just hit Gold for the first time recently. I've also learned a lot, just watching his videos and already started implementing some of the things into my games and they've helped a lot.

watching thiese is always so interesting to me as a d1 player because im just sitting here like "there's a free kill there's a free kill there's a free kill" and i honestly don't think i'd ever be able to coach someone in this elo. mad respect for you neace
As prior service, alot of respect for you Neace
Respect for you Neace! You are an inspiration as a true human
True human
That first gank top was hilarious. Makes me think of all the Ahri's in bronze that ult in, wiff their Q and E, and then ult away, and then panic-button their stopwatch so they can spend 3 seconds considering how badly they just screwed up.
Respect Neace. You got a good heart behind that rough BS personality.
Hmm
@@JB-rl8ki indeed

@@kosmique He works just as hard as anyone else and makes a good living doing what he enjoys. But keep spreading negativity when no one is asking for it, I'm sure it will get you far in life. Good luck with that non-sense.
@@pixelhidef Jealous people just hate the world, man.

This episode is another milestone in your editor's skill career. like wow putting them side by side seems so easy but no one has done it
Mad respect for Neace. Best coach content on youtube
I am watching the end currently and tearing up. I just recently started watching Neace and I am in love with how he coaches. He can be an amazing guy, especially since he served, and he can also be a pushing dude. At the end of the day, all I can say is I 100% support Neace and all that he does.
He is shit at coaching
You earned my eternal respect for what you did, that really showed where you're at as a human being!
29:54 As a fellow service member, I agree 100%. I never feel right about being thanked for my service. It can be awkward.
@@FatFreeVideos Then you should be fine with being treated as less than equal...
@@FatFreeVideos ??? people join the military because it pays well and gives a lot of other benefits. Well not "well" but for a high school grad with little prospects it is a relatively attractive option.
Mad respect to Neace at the end, so kind hearted
Mad respect for the end. Thanks to all the veterans out there we dont deserve yall 🙏

Needs to auto attack after using W to proc the mark instead of W>Q>AA, also using E more when clearing would help.
I love how the voice's play over when speeding up, and only the important parts. Such nice editing
As someone who also served for one term, I have a ton of respect for you knowing how tough shit can be. Thanks Neace for being a good man. Gained a new sub (no longer a peeping teemo)

Overlaying the challenger/high elo jungle clear in the top right is AMAZING for jungle coaching. Please continue this Neace editing team.
Usually no a commenter but that's just amazing.
damn. i even needed to hear that for myself. i been thinking coaching.
and good on you for being a real human and understanding his own financial situation.
Just got out of the army last week! Love you neace! Support everything youre doin
Welcome to fort couch! Been here for a few months myself
Huge fan Neace. Active duty Navy for 12 years here. chilling at work watching your vids in the downtime. learned so much from your videos.
Pretty sweet looking out for a brother in arms. I agree, just game and have fun. Rank comes with time.
Also, a big mistake I see a lot of veigo players making is not taking advantage of the E movement speed to get around the map and clear faster with the attack speed. I havent done any hard math but I like to put the E on one of the walls that touch the fountain to get to the jungle faster when going to gromp or gollums.
yes but they like to use the E for the attack speed not the movement speed.
@@noobgoestrapping5084 this is a good message
"19 and we're clicking like granny?" L O L
I am impressed by the amount of chill his team had. I've had team mates giving up after first blood, but his team stood up their ground no matter how hard they seemed they were losing. I wish I'd see more of this mindset in my games.
I think it was mostly because they had no idea what was basically going on most of the time xD..... They had a good team comp I mean. Ez could have won if played 20 or 30 % better. Maby throw some wards to avoid Zac colliding into bot all the time and xerath just kiting back the Zac more often... But yes pretty chill... 😁
As a new player learning how to jungle, I really enjoyed this video.
I really cried....when he said just relax and game...sometimes you forget to enjoy the game first then improve while always having fun
So nice, NEACE. To you and your client, thank you both for your service. I'm sure you made this Amn's day with this coaching and giving half his money back. Amn pay isn't a joke, especially if they aren't getting BAH. Keep it up, NEACE!
The E level up on level 16 kinda hurt haha
Love the video! Great respect from Neace's end! Really thinking about getting some coaching once I hit stuck elo.
this video and how you responded to him after the game really made me respect you a lot!!!
Honestly I'd use that keybind layout. It's basically how I had my WoW keybinds sans the S. You can reach all those keys easy while you use WASD to move. Plus the shift and control variant gives you like 20 binds without having to move your hand.
exactly
I'm a OIF Veteran, i enlisted when i was 17 back in 2004. This video.... THIS VIDEO should be top 5 reasons why Neace is the KING of League Coaches!!!!
“Pays for “professional” coaching”
“I’m refunding you half and go do whatever and play on your own”
10/10 coaching
I see why coach Curtis doesn't coach below gold. I've been playing for about a year and the amount of information you can learn just by watching RUclips is amazing. I do think coaching to learn how to do a clear is really the correct call. You don't get much benefit from getting coached on the very very basic parts of the game
oh wow. sounds kinda lazy lol. gold and up know how to play the game already. just need fine tuning on matchups and champion specific gameplay.
@@jelorer there's a reason neace gets paid the most, dude actually cares about helping the majority of the player-base, unlike the elitists
@@sonicboom564 dude what? if you're below gold you don't need coaching. if you aren't even gold you are literally only a beginner. anything below gold or plat can be fixed by free youtube videos and guides lol
@@jelorer that doesn't make sense. if you are gold or below you are an extreme beginner and are a casual player. only serious players need coaching to climb towards actual high elo. there's a reason pro teams have designated coaching staff.

1st game 12min in "Amumu has left the game", 17min "Nautilus has left the game"........ some times man.... jesus
Keep in mind that those are not every game. Don't let negativity bias kill your climb. Games played is the number one reason most people in low elo don't climb

yeah how can he be iron player. he's not that bad. I can see him in silver. It's not like silver is good players.
@@tgo007 Silver players have better micro, better macro and worse mental than this guy. Meaning for now they are better..but he'll eventually pass them them on the way to.. prolly diamond+.

Just found this, and I think the advice you give at the end is great! I've been playing on and off since 2010. Never done much ranked because of life situations (hello 180ms ping, I'm looking at you). But I've taught a lot of friends how to play. :3 And I always do what I can so that they can focus on just playing and getting the hang of the game.
I also recently realized I should also teach people not to get tilted or bent and just have fun. That's how I always play, but one of my friends/students already got banned from one account for being toxic. xD
Just subscribed because of this video! I have been watching notoriously for a few weeks now because I have only been playing for 4 weeks now and I’m about 9 years in lot the Marine Corps and I appreciated your feedback to this man!
I love to see videos of Kingstix in the corner, one of the best junglers in NA. Keep up the good videos NEACE!
Friendly reminder to those out there commenting and replying to comments.... please stop feeding the trolls.
When the people are being blatantly arguementative.... ignore them. Just like in league, they want the attention and "reknown" and you are giving it to them by making 1 or 2 comments into 100 talking about them.

i just decided to sub cuz i fuck with your humility and the fact that your support those serving! dude. semper fi!
this guy kinda reminds me of me...
back in 2014 i was all over the place with League... but League came around when I had to chose what the heck I am gonna do with my life.. so bcuz i didn't finished studies and couldn't get a good job, i joined seasonal work at some fruit farm in Spain... being away from home 4 months every year made me drop in skill gap so badly... this happened for 3 years... when i stopped my league appeal was over.. and never managed to climb more than Gold
now i still play but arams only.. and is like Neace said ''just enjoy and don't give a damn'' well for us who are not too good at the game is a big struggle to enjoy in ranked games... cuz of the pressure to give our best... that's why i think the best thing League could do for ranked system is to allow only mains to play.. like having 100k experience points on a champion to be able to play ranked... yes it will increase the time you wait to play.. but u will get only the best out of those games..
The client was actally pretty decent, surprised this was only iron, cool guy neace at the end too!
Amazing ending, and this advice NEACE gave can be applied to anything people are trying to improve at. class act.
(Sorry, kind of a run-on) but I understand he's a professional coach who tells people what they need to hear when they come to him with help. He's giving them results. This video was really cool, because it made me feel better about how I just hit Gold for the first time recently. I've also learned a lot, just watching his videos and already started implementing some of the things into my games and they've helped a lot.
I really like the clear in the top right corner. Awesome idea. great video.

He is so right tho, I am nowhere near Neace level experience but the lack of mechanics, prioritization, and the fact he was trying out a build/path while being coached...really show lack of game knowledge. (NO FLAME)

Great content as always ! Thanks King Neace!
I'm thinking Neace maybe should start looking up champion abilities during coachings. This client didn't use his free possession ult a single time. Still, great video. Good vibes.

Note to the editor, or perhaps whoever puts the music choices, I think the quiet dubstep-type music isn't great for ambient music. Whole point of dubstep is to feel loud bass speakers but when its quiet for background ambient music it honestly just sounds like noise. The more chill techno or what do people call it, EDM? Low-fi? That's nice.
