I Buy sliced ham, roast beef, and turkey in packages at Walmart Great Value brand and put in the dehydrator at 165° for about 5 hrs they got crispy...if not totally crisp put back in for another hour...very good
That’s awesome! Thank you for letting me know☺️ that seems quite fast in the air fryer I’m gonna have to try it. Although I did just order a dehydrator on Black Friday😆🤗
I recently found your channel. I have a large family with many health issues. My daughter has been on carnivore for a year (our grass fed beef and we raise chickens for our eggs.) Histamine issues, needs fresh. She has healed her severe eczema. She spent 2 years in her room from 12 to 14 years old...my heart broke. She didn't want to go in public because everyone commented or asked her about her skin. We started with keto...me too other health issues...and here we are healing with carnivore. Keto actually made me worse. I guess fiber, plant hormones and whatever else in veggies made me worse and worse. Thanks for your genius!!! My husband and 2 more of my kids are starting carnivore today because of gut, autoimmune and hormone issues. Your channel is life saving!!! Praise God!
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment that is so nice of you to say 🥰I appreciate it! ❤️ I’m so happy you found the carnivore way of eating and I’m sorry to hear about your histamine issues that’s horrible! 😞 I do have bad eczema but when I started keto it actually got a lot better for me and going to Carnivore has been even better❤️
I’ve got to get me a meat slicer! It seems like the real key to consistently getting the slices the right width while getting through a lot of meat quickly
I’m glad you’re doing well after the virus that you had. I love your videos, it always makes me smile when you post a new video, you have such fun content and such a soothing voice; I always learn so much! I follow you on Instagram, but I crochet at home and watch your videos on tv, so my hands can work, because I can’t scroll and read while I crochet toys lol
Aww thank you so much 🥰 that is so nice of you to say I appreciate it❤️ I totally get it about watching while crocheting. I used to crochet a lot when my kids were younger but I haven’t done it in so long. I was starting to have a problem with my right hand I probably wasn’t holding something right, but I do find it relaxing to crochet🤗
I did the same thing with cured meats I had left over from a charcuterie board from Christmas. I did them in my dehydrator overnight, I found that the ones with fat we're really good but the ones without fat or too crunchy and almost would break your teeth. It's very humid where I live in Oregon so I put them in a sealed container with one of those pouches from vitamin bottles to soak up the moisture.
Great idea! I was just going to ask if you thought the meat dept would slice up a roast. I’ll ask next time I’m in because I would totally make the beef ones too!
I have been looking to find in the comments, but, what slicer setting did you use for the beef and ham? Also, I am going to attempt to do pork loin roast, any suggestions and experimenting with different seasonings?
Thank you! I realize everyone doesn’t have a deli slicer. In the past I’ve picked out a roast at Sobey‘s and then I asked the butcher to slice it for me, granted I only asked it to be sliced thin for beef jerky. I’m guessing if I would’ve asked to be cut even thinner they would’ve done it no problem. They didn’t charge me or anything. From what I’ve heard from others butchers are willing to do this but I would check with your butcher in your local grocery section. I hope that helps🤗
Hey! Just stumbled upon your channel and I must say, it's awesome. Got a quick question for you - when making meat chips, do you cut the meat against the grain or with the grain? 🤔 Thanks!
I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered but at what temperature did cook the beef? Was it also cooked at 195 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours like the ham?
I’m sorry my machine does not have a millimetre reading. I just do it as thin as I can, I want to say it’s like 1 to 2 mm thin almost to the point where it would break if it was any thinner if that makes sense☺️
I think these would be much better than Carnivore Crisps. I don’t care for them. They don’t have enough salt or flavor. If I make my own then I can control the flavor, not to mention that these would be much less expensive and I can make a large batch. I’m going to try these. You have great recipes. I want to try your cinnamon rolls. They look so good. BTW, you look amazing. I just started watching your videos today. I started Carnivore Jan 7th. I’ve lost 6 lbs already. I have about 74 to go. I’m not extremely strict Carnivore in that I use some sweeteners and I use any herbs & spices that I want and sometimes use Keto Chow. That’s the way I choose. It works for me.
Hi, thank you!❤️ I actually did see some thing pop up on PayPal, I wasn’t sure what that was I am horrible with being technically illiterate sometimes🙈 I’m happy to be back and hoping to be on here more thank you for your support❤️🤗

Yummm! I definitely need to get my hands on a good dehydrator one that holds a lot😆☺️
@@ketocarnivoreishcrys3446 get an Excaliber 9 tray. I have had one for about 6 years and use it every week. It works like a charm
Good suggestion! Thanks
thank you for video... this is now our game day snack ! i make mine
in my AirFryer .... 300 degrees for 7 mins turning 1/2 way thru ...

These look amazing! We were searching how to do meat crisps .. thanks for sharing!
That crunch sounds amazing! These look so good - thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I know the crunch is amazing and I am a chip lover so these are perfect😍🤗

How are you now? Is your family in better shape now? I'm curious to hear about it!
How’s the progress been?
I love these! They make excellent chips for queso, guacamole or spinach artichoke dip.
I’ve got to get me a meat slicer! It seems like the real key to consistently getting the slices the right width while getting through a lot of meat quickly
How long do they last?
Welcome back. Can't wait to try this. I have made jerky before. This is very different.
Thank you so much! Let me know if you do try it. Yes this is so different from beef jerky but I love it❤️🤗
I’m glad you’re doing well after the virus that you had.

Diy Carnivore Crisps! Love it! You always have such good ideas! How much did you spend on the meat and the slicer?
Great idea! I was just going to ask if you thought the meat dept would slice up a roast. I’ll ask next time I’m in because I would totally make the beef ones too!
I actually want to go to Sobey‘s and get them to slice it up for me again less work for me😆
A vaccum sealer would be perfect with the sliced ham! Never thought of thinly slicing a ham and sealing it!
Thank you! Oh I know a vacuum sealer is definitely on my list of things to get😍🤗
I have been looking to find in the comments, but, what slicer setting did you use for the beef and ham? Also, I am going to attempt to do pork loin roast, any suggestions and experimenting with different seasonings?
What slicer do you have? Also what are the names of the roasts your using? New to beef cuts, etc. Thank you! : )
The dessicant packets are great, and you can recharge them to re-use! Thanks for the video!
I did finally get some packets I’m kind of unsure on how to reactivate them I haven’t done that yet but I’ve been loving them so far☺️
How do you recharge or reactivate those please?
@@aidanpoulter9514 there should be instructions on the package. Generally either oven or microwave.
Glad you are back! What do u suggest if we don’t have a deli slicer?

Have you tried buying low sodium lunchmeat ham?
Which slicer do you use? : )
can you use a food dehydrator? would it work the same? lol I have a real nice one that I use for my 3d printer filliment
Thank you for sharing. We can get the carnivore chips shipped to Canada, but the shipping costs just make it not possible for us.
No problem! Thank you! I actually just like them too much and eat too much of them, making these is definitely more cost-effective for me😆🤗

I'm gona make these and dip them in butter, then eat them,
Yum, Yum
Wow thats so much easier than i haf imagined
It really is and I’ve been hooked on these meat chips☺️
Was the roast pre cooked?
No it was not pre-cooked☺️
GM I love your channel. Where do you get your dry-cured cottage cheese? Thanks
Still trying to perfect that pmsf bread. Any suggestions
I just get the dry cottage cheese at the grocery store it’s kind of by the regular cottage cheese but there’s usually less of it.
Have you watched my newest video for the PSMF Bread🤗
Hello, could I just ask you how thin you slice your meat, how many millimetres? TIA
I’m sorry my machine does not have a millimetre reading. I just do it as thin as I can, I want to say it’s like 1 to 2 mm thin almost to the point where it would break if it was any thinner if that makes sense☺️
@@ketocarnivoreishcrys3446 thanks for replying ☺️
Did you ever make any with chicken breast ?
Do you have any tips for making sure the slices don’t stick to the paper?
For me, I spray coconut oil on the baking paper.
Maybe in a mason jar with an oxygen absorber and vaccum seal the jar? I love the meat slicer! Maybe some day I can get ine👏🏻
Thank you! The mason jar is a good idea I was also thinking I would get some Silica Gel Desiccant Packets from Amazon I haven’t gotten them before🤗

Black chips looks so cool, though, ye lighter ones perhaps more healthier
Make sure there’s no gluten in the sliced deli meat. Many have gluten
I think my butcher made mine too thick. No crunch. : /
Oh no that’s probably what it was. Did it make a good jerky at least?
@@ketocarnivoreishcrys3446
Yes taste great. Got some chippy parts.
Will have them shave next time. Thank you! : )
@@sea_hous well that’s good at least❤️🤗
So Beef Chips aren't Beef jerky? I'm confused
400 degrees for 30 minutes in oven, done!
17:39 just to say I made beef jerky. wow.
Nooice!
Invite vegans over to try them.
Deli meats are processed bad meats. So I skipped your video. Looking to use fresh meat to dry out
