- The divide over NFL protests has led to a national anthem singer giving up his job.
Ravens national anthem singer Joey Odoms announced on Facebook he was resigning as the Ravens official singer days after league wide protests following President Donald Trump's remarks last week.

It is a great honor to our flag and the utmost respect to our constitution. The players are kneeling before the flag, not cussing, shouting, etc... This is done to bring attention to the hypocrisy of the "judicial" system when dealing with assassinations of American citizens by police. No matter if caught red-handed, on video, shooting children, in the back, women,... the "justice" [is Just Not] invariably finds no fault with the actions of these murderous criminals. They are kneeling to promote a value which America claims as it's highest- the value of the human life. The shame is you are so focused on false patriotism that it enables you to hide your own callous disregard for human life [other than your own] behind the flag.
This should be the National Anthem for the Hebrew Israelites Only.

Static The President is right, this is beyond himself! This is about disrespecting our national symbols! Even the NFL bylaws say the players must stand up out respect during the national Anthem. They are just using this for politics. They stood up for the God save the Queen!!! England was the one that brought Africans into America as slaves!!!
