So there is a way to separate the back off from the front of the dish with a thin flathead screwdriver. There's just some adhesive u have to separate which once u get it started, it's not too bad. Saw a couple of vids before I did that to mine. I then was able to take out the motor mount thing and push out the cable. So if u don't want to cut the pipe, try what I did and then just re glue it back together once the pipe thing is out.
Great idea, this I am going to use for my diy project in the everlanders 3D print. But with motor stop! As in the video of elli-Yaght (youtube). Thanks Cy
Vendor should make a metal case that is a 'tad' higher so you can leave the arm in stowed position and then just disable the motor (many do it through a power switch).

Great video. Thanks! Where can I purchase a similar mount for a Starlink Gen 3? TNX Bret C / AC0AE
Excellent!! Just what I was looking for. Do you know if it can be cut a little more towards the antenna? that is, cut almost the entire tube

How did you make the metal casing?
You buy it: see the link.
But it's out of stock.
@@joeponthetrails can it be that the link doesn't work
Perfekt DIY video. Thanks
Not a bad video. However, I did find the music a little loud and distracting. Nice looking mount tho!
Good Job.
How is the performance thru the plexiglass? Any degradation?
It is acrylic not plexiglass. No any degradation so far.

it looks ugly ,but we will consider it.

Botched job...
Not my way of thinking, i would not install it this way, 😄
