Thanks for your guide, it helped me a lot. My first lap after watching your video was 1.2 seconds quiker than before. My lap time is only 1.34.5 but your video was very very helpful
yes for the most part the braking points and lines through the corners are the same. it’s just that some behave slightly differently through the corner. i think the mercedes is a great first GT3 as it’s very stable and easy to drive. the BOP at the moment seems to be balanced so you can be competitive in any car.
@@unknowndriver8664 hmm, a friend of mine has both the merc and Ferrari, and he thinks the merc is very snappy on under/oversteer. Especially T11, he feels like it either understeers over the curb, or kicks out the rear. I haven’t driven them myself, and he’s also very new to these cars, him coming from single seaters, while I drive ovals mostly. Does this sound realistic or a bunch of nonsense and “skill issue”? 🤣
@@Pokeyy the merc is slightly more snappy under acceleration due to it being front engine. you just have to be slightly more careful when applying the throttle. cars like the porsche or audi have good acceleration but can be more difficult with over rotation due to them being rear engine. you just have to adjust your driving slightly to match which car you’re driving.
@@Pokeyy honestly, its personal preference & driving style, i have the porsche as well as the merc & im consistently .7-1.2 seconds faster in the merc than the porsche at most tracks

Nice time 👍. Happy to hear my video could help out!
Thanks
I’m about to get my first GT3 car, I like the merc a lot more sound wise. How different are they to drive? Would the exact same lap guide work?
