You gotta give him the rest of the year. There's always room for improvement. I want to see us hold Oklahoma State to under 20 points and I want a rematch against Texas. Although it might not happen
I still can't believe they called a flag on the celebration. That was ridiculous. Later I watched Penn State do a choregraphed celebration as well. No call because there should be one!
And one of their TDs came after Bookie dropping a sure-to-be pick 6. Overall gotta be pleased with the defense for sure. Will be interesting to see how they handle a Texas Tech offense.
You left out the entire 17-point TCU section in the second quarter! As an OU fan looking to see how our defense broke down there, not super pleased it was left out.
For the second half of the second quarter I saw the Mike Stoops defense show up again. Egads. OU’s offense is simple badass though. I hope the defense continues to improve. Correcting 10 years of bad defensive strategy and philosophy won’t be fixed overnight, but do it as quickly as possible.
andrew phung Luckily they still showed when TCU’s supposed best tackler got trucked by Trey Sermon. And that dude was a linebacker. They’re not supposed to get trucked like that! 😂
Offense is rolling. Defense is still poor, but there’s hope that they’ll get better, seeing how they held TCU to only 3 points in the second half. Boomer!
My critique of OU's defense, as of 10-20-2018: Overall the defense looked better today against TCU, but that was against one of the B12's worst offenses. We should look for continued improvement if the changes are real. D-line: OU's front four lacks athletism, and they look very undersized in strength, speed, and agility, not talking gross weight, but speed and size. The front four simply look average (one exception would be Ronnie Perkins, he looks like real top talent). OU shouldn't be average at any position. OU should have elite plays in their front seven, no excuse for such an average D-line. I just haven't seen that top D-line talent in a long time. Linebackers: The linebackers look good, very athletic, but just don't always seem to play smart football, especially at the Mike position. Murray is very athletic, strong, and fast, but is often out of position when playing against top ten talent. Bolten has been the one shining surprise this year to me. Kelly is another ultra-physical talent but has disappeared...very strange. With smarter Mike play, the linebackers could be elite. D-Backs: For seven years we've heard that the defensive-backfield is young, but improving...Where? When? Haven't seen it! The D-backs are good but not great. They look undersized and just overmatched against receivers and running backs. The safety play is just average. Radley-Hines is simply too small, did you see the TCU backup QB throw him to the ground like a rag doll today? Tackling was better, the D-line play looked improved, backers seemed focused, overall I would give them a B-grade...Not great and certainly not elite, but good enough to win the B12 championship.
This "meeting" in TX half way I've never cared for!! Let's play each other in each others home turf! Playing WV we don't go to TN, example...silly not to play each other at home!
NOW THIS, this is highlights! Great job to the uploaded! Boomer!!
Tech coming for ya
David Humphries yea, coming for an L Best believe that lol
SOONER
Refs did everything they could to stop us
Facts
you two are stupid
True
Great sportsmanship on both sides, the athletes did their schools proud today.
A forgotten art. Glad some people still root for it.
The defense certainly played much better. They really only gave up two TD’s. They still need to get better, but I believe in them.

Macintosh YOU DAAAAMN STUD!!!!!!! THANK YOU SIR.. AND GOD BLESS
Great video mr. Macintosh you ,sir, have earned yourself a subscription
That second TD for TCU was from a push off.
gotta give the new defensive coach more than 2 weeks to get it together, yes?

@@Doomlerious it won't happen because Texas won't make.it
@@terrelldavis7308 I want to agree..... But I also want the hat back.
Held them to 3 points in the 2nd half
Fun fact. The last time Oklahoma lost a true road game was at TCU on 10/04/2014.
Patrick Quibodeaux unfortunately I was at that game
Smh Trevor knight after the sugar bowl
PS , lets pray that Sermon is gonna be good to go for the next games :)
We got 3 more! But I still agree. Either way.. We're gucci
Twitter said that he came back from the locker room with no brace and appeared fine.
We need to start forcing more turnovers. We had two easy INT's that were dropped by our DB's.
I still can't believe they called a flag on the celebration. That was ridiculous. Later I watched Penn State do a choregraphed celebration as well. No call because there should be one!
Mkeegs79 and they have done it the last few games atleast
Yea, this was the Big12s main crew. No surprise it was shit. Only the PAC 12 has worse refs.
Watching the scene setter again. Hearing “track wall, HES GONE!” gives me chills
Sooners safety at 7:40 tells you everything that you need to know about the OU defense.
Ik we let 27 points but who else is liking our defense so far ik it’s tcu but admit it if mike stoops was coaching this we would’ve let 56 points 😂
Bleach Is great The defense only gave up 20 points, one touchdown was on special teams.
And one of their TDs came after Bookie dropping a sure-to-be pick 6. Overall gotta be pleased with the defense for sure. Will be interesting to see how they handle a Texas Tech offense.
Well played. It seem we have some improvement
Thank you.
TCU is a class act program. Gary Patterson has the right mentality going on there

Nathan Wakefield let me help you with regards to how the defense looked in that sequence: bad
Was the intro good? I fell asleep about 13 seconds in.

What happened with Caleb kelly ?
Even with a 3 TD lead OU still lets their opponent jump right back into contention in just a few plays. 2nd qtr was almost a disaster for OU.
Bucky Teel gotta give some Credit to the D
3rd & 4th quarter were sweet, tho.
Yes they did what was needed. Special teams & penalties need work.
Sooner 4 ever
Missed where that tcu running back ran over that ou corner
andrew phung hold that L
Not that impressive because corners are usually small 😂 hey way to fight though you could’ve lost by more td’s!!
andrew phung Luckily they still showed when TCU’s supposed best tackler got trucked by Trey Sermon. And that dude was a linebacker. They’re not supposed to get trucked like that! 😂
Extraordinarily Basic not a tcu fam a UT fan
andrew phung I’m sorry to hear that. I hope your parents are ashamed😂
That last time Oklahoma saw a Statue of Liberty play it didn’t work out this well.
:,(...why u do dis?
Its all unnecessary until 2:30
Offense is rolling. Defense is still poor, but there’s hope that they’ll get better, seeing how they held TCU to only 3 points in the second half. Boomer!
They were in position all day. Execution is the only thing that needs amped up, and cut out all the pre snap penalties.
Defense definitely played better. Technically the D only gave up 20 points. Special teams and penalties hurt us today.
Well Oklahoma’s special teams need some work they only let 20 points to tcu’s offense
3rd least amount of yards in the Lincoln Riley era
20 pts
Half as much yardage given as TCU vs. Ohio State.
3 pts in the second half
Dude
Nah they were good enough, only 3 points in the second half
Need to work on the defense's hands. Should of had 4 INTs.
Oh just show me highlights!!!! All this pre-highlight talk...really!!!!
