i was at it to our d wake up and in the 2nd half it was really good
Spencer Aston I wish I was went to the game. I watched at home and in the beginning the crowd was alive, but then seem to quiet down after halftime. Idk but I get it, temps must have been cold as game went on. But still love the victory! Love how our D showed up. Definitely built up their confidence. Hopefully they show up remaining season. Love Sooners. BOOMER....
Our defense finally showed signs of life after the 1st quarter--it made me very happy. I'm starting to think we can win the rest of our games.

Still kinda want Mike Stoops gone before next season though.
He's the problem. I dont care if defensive players are injured or not highly skilled, theres NO excuse for off and on defense that ranks as one of the nations worst.
Santana Moss Oh, I pray to god they get rid of him after this year. You can see even in this game that the guys out there on D play with intensity and make plays when the coverage is there. But god, Mikes schemes just get picked apart by every team week in and week out. With an amazing pass rusher like Double O, and some decent secondary they should not be getting tore apart in the first half of every game . That's not to say our defense doesn't need some re adjusting because even in this game you can see they just give up the run game. And its not like the scheme is always the problem in those situations. Sometimes the LB's shoot the gaps super fast on a run and allow the runner to just adjust the hole they go up that allows for some major running room. But overall I do think that the defense is on Mike still.

Santana Moss who is a better replacement they can get? Not Ruffin McNeal surely. I tried telling all my buddies to be careful what they wished for about getting rid of vennables. I just don't know who the next guy would be if stoops left

Our fan base is pathetic, they have to be the quietest fans in all of college football. To many old guys and not enough of the young crowd
It's not fair that Georgia or Alabama play week teams (sec) and that All the teams in the big 12 are pretty good, you should be able to lose 2 or 3 games in the big 12 and still go to the playoff cuz I honestly believe TCU, OKIE STATE, and IOWA STATE even K-STATE would beat any sec team!!! the playoff system sucks, they need 8 or even a 16 team playoff would be fair.BOOMER SOONER!!!

ethan maddy oh yea, Iowa State and TCU best defense of big 12 and would beat any sec team, sec is overrated with no offense, Bama and Georgia have good running backs OU would have to score alot of points to beat Bama or Georgia but running game and defense is getting alot better, but Bama and Georgia don't have good offense to beat TCU, Iowa State, or Okie State, OU is getting pretty good too, so with some help from other teams it is still possible for Okie State, OU, TCU or believe it or not Iowa State even has a chance to get in with their tough schedule, The committee can vote the 4 teams regardless of how many losses and Norte Dame could easily lose 1 more game and same with Ohio State so don't be surprised if a team or two gets in with 2 losses, Auburn is good enough to beat Bama, and Georgia plays Bama in sec championship game, anything can happen, plenty football left but OU is still in the hunt with The Buckeyes and Iowa State win Saturday, the committee looks at toughness of schedule so will see!!!

Probably would be. It was really surprising at the time how unprepared OSU was. At home even. But so were we the previous year. I love college football. Kids can be unpredictable. Good luck, nice w yesterday!
