The movie I needed on January 2,2025, that I didn't know I needed. There is absolutely no situation that Jehovah God can not turn around. Now,this is the type of movie that initially drew me to Nollywood movies. Also,outside of this.. the storyline,actors,director, crew, producer 10/10. I will not go into the details of the movie. However, it's worth the watch. I will end by saying that no matter how dim/ dire a situation looks,don't give up on God because He won't give up on me.

I stopped watching movies for a while because I considered them a waste of time, returned from work exhausted and just wanted my bed, don’t know how I ended on RUclips and this movie immediately showed up and I had a very strong urge to watch it, clearly that was God’s leading because I haven’t prayed in a while the way I prayed today. But there is something to know here, in countries where Christians are persecuted, Christians worship in a hidden way, in their hearts and just witness with their lives, like how she is caring for her workers and even make her husband change through constant prayers of the heart... Saint Monica, Saint Augustine's mother, prayed for her son and husband for many years and they eventually turned to God.

When God said to be obedient to parents He did not mean when they were making wrong decisions, or treating you wrongly in anyway. Afteral. God is not like that. This movie has morbid yet realistic evil that exists all around us. To think that he targeted the FL from when she was a new born and bound The family yet they'd done him no wrong.
But the best for me was when he arrogantly said he owned her and they'd forever be bound to him and she calls upon the name of God fearlessly. She let go of all her fear of him and drew strength from her faith with such determination. Her faith was both her cross and her sheild. He didn't stand a chance once she started calling upon the Lord. She unleashed the fire of the Holy spirit.
The takeaway is indeed befitting of the story of Jabez....
Jabez was described as more honorable than his brothers, yet his life began with hardship. His mother named him "Jabez," which means pain or sorrow, saying, "I gave birth to him in pain." This name carried a negative connotation, as it seemed to define his destiny.
Despite this, Jabez did not allow his name or circumstances to dictate his future. He turned to God in prayer and made a bold request:
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain." (1 Chronicles 4:10)
The remarkable part of Jabez's story is the result: "God granted his request."

I was so dissapointed with the mother for guiltily her into the marriage and choosing to protect herself when she discovered what her daughter was going through. How do you tell your own daughter to just bear it!!
