I am busy rebuilding a bike at the moment (1989 TDR180 in MX Trim), and have learnt A LOT about non-starters and where to start, what to look for, as well as how to do basic diagnostics for common issues. Love your videos and especially your mistakes. They helped tremendously when my father and I spent a dozen hours fixing my furnace yesterday and today. I don't know if it was the mistakes or the sense of humor that kept the project going and got us to finish fixing the furnace and so I have heat when my new born daughter comes home from the hospital tomorrow(Christmas). Thanks!!!!

I'm guessing the packing in the exhaust is saturated in the old oil, id suggest repacking the exhaust.
