I love the story of Fanta as well! The CEO of the German Coca Cola franchise, Max Keith was basically left all like ‘uhm, what now?’ after WWII started and the factory stopped receiving shipments from the US with the trade embargo. So, he decided to make the most out of it and they started coming up with drinks from leftovers of the leftovers as explained in the video and as Keith recalls. The name Fanta is surrounded by cool trivia too! It was the result of a brainstorming session, which started with Keith's exhorting his team to "use their imagination" (Fantasie in German), to which one of his salesmen, exclaimed"Fanta!". The drink was super popular and they sold 3m cans in the first year.
