I've been to many tropical places like Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Caribbean, Hawaii, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Indonesia but Bora Bora is the place that has eluded me. The walls are paper-thin, and hearing the ocean move under the floor 24/7 might not be as soothing as it sounds. Also, honey-mooning couples tend to make sounds you don't necessarily want to hear. ;) Get a " cheap" room or apartment... Spend money on the things you want to do while you're there. Buy fresh fruit for breakfast and eat it on the beach... Enjoy life. Dreamers play the lottery and it pretty much never gets anyone to Bora Bora. Doers just save their money and go to Bora Bora. =) If you make a plan, and sacrifice some of the stupid stuff you spend money on and save it...
