As someone who has played entirely too much dst, it's interesting to see how much the small differences between it and single player can effect your play, as well as seeing someone with more time on singleplayer experience a lot of its content for the first time
I would argue the MAIN reason to play DS over DST, is the availability of DLC worlds. "Hamlet, Shipwrecked". But apart from that, from what I have seen, DST just has way more content, including long term progression, and an intricate charachter customization feature. Main problem being just how overtuned most bosses and enemies are.
@@CatLover-lk9gz yea, the hp is supposed to be scaled for multiple people, 3-4, and while i'm used to it i get why it can be annoying. Hamlet and shipwrecked are fun and while some people want them to add the content straight to dst, I'm glad they decided to take a few things and tweak them, but mostly make new stuff. If your on pc at least you can get mods to play them on dst, but that's not really a fix for those on console.
@@fullover1814 I understand why the scaling is a thing, Im mostly just annoyed that they can't implement it to scale as servers get populated. Instead of all at once. I play almost exclusively singleplayer DST, because Nintendo Switch doesn't have a chat function, and multiplayer without a chat is stupid.
@@CatLover-lk9gz I do wish they'd introduce a scaling option based on server size for consoles. (PC can use mods). It could also be beneficial vice versa with 4+ players, where bosses get trivilised.

I personally like the more raw kind of episodes with less script feels more natural although i can see why it being a little harder to pull off at times
if you're good at don't starve, there's no guarantee that you're good at don't starve together if you're good at don't starve together, you're most likely good at don't starve (but not its dlc's lol (besides reign of giants))
I actually think I saw your world a couple days ago. It was (I think) called "100 days" with world settings the survival settings (original world settings that can also have some changes). It had 2 people playing.
i have the opposite problem. i’m a dst OG. well, i can survive for 2000 days, but i’m still avoiding boss fights because my pc lags, but i’ve killed them all one way or another. dst attack animation is pretty simple to cancel, and i’m not talking about shattersteping or equiping items. if you attaked 2 times, you can start attacking third time, but cancel the attack and escape taking damage. it’s almost like doing 6.5 hits (to dragonfly) instead of full 6 or 7. you don’t deal damage, or sometimes you do, but the thing is you can cancel animation any time. in don’t starve solo, however, you cannot and it makes me think this game has a bit harder kiting. but sometimes it’s even better, because it’s much easier to kill tall bird in DS. spiders though…. also, what is true for me too, collecting resourses or picking is much faster in DS than in DST, even without lag compensation.
Yeah, the little differences between both games can really mess you up! what gets me the most is the fact that you can do stuff in the dark in don't starve solo, but in DST you cannot, Im ashamed to admit that has lead to more than a few deaths 😅
With DST there’s a lot you can figure out by just playing the game and messing around, but there are things and mechanics you’d only know from either someone telling you or consoling the Wiki. Like you said, the real hard part is actually progressing through the game and it’s bosses on top of learning how to optimise your survival. I’ll provide some extra notes off of what you’ve learned: Scotch Eggs are, as you said, a banger food to make along side Meatballs, Forget-Me-Not Tea and Pierogi which are an incredible healing food especially in boss fights. Ham Bats are actually quite a worthwhile investment since they spoil rather than have durability on top of them doing almost dark sword damage which is great for early and mid game, you will have to find a good way to easily obtain meat however. Tree Guards are a Godsend against Deerclops and Bearger which is why planting a tree farm and walking either of them through it is so great, you get a load of important resources. Pig Men are worth experimenting on especially their werepig form. Giant veggies are gotten when a plant is at its absolute happiest and healthiest, tomatoes and potatoes are easiest to do this with since they like each other. Feeding a veg to a bird will get you it’s seed and feeding it meat will get you some nice eggs, how nice :3. Those Mooslings can be both helpful and harmful, tricking an enemy into hurting one allows you to reap the benefits but they can also steal food you’re trying to pick like mushrooms and berries. Base organisation is way more important than just for apoearances. And finally….be more comfortable with becoming insane, its far more useful than you think it is. Alright thats it! I enjoyed the video and I hope you give another go at Dont Starve Together
I prefer to watch one long video than a bunch of series, but maybe put some more real audio from the game rather than a voice over to make it more interesting(?). otherwise, it's a good one! subscribed!

Sky going off the boat, shipwrecking to shore only to be killed by a meteor a minute later is all you need to know about this video
LMAO I'm dying laughing at that moment.😂😂😂😂😂
Being able to see blind reactions to dst, especially late game stuff, isn't a common thing, so I'll definitely tune into the next 100 days!
wortox actually has great sanity variability! dropping souls regains sanity, and also heals you and allies in an area!

but can you solo cc like that willow did
The duo has to beat the gigants next time

You should play DST more(:

Could you please put Persian subtitles for us Iranians?
