The beautiful Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik, with 30,000 units produced (the most produced war plane in the world) was as essential to the Soviets as bread and air.

They did, yes. 33 thousand. But the IL-2s were more. It was actually 36k. Not that it matters that much anyway, since Germans were basically grounded by 1944.

I had this game for DS AND I LOVED IT
The 262 me lowered its speed to land, there the usa fighter appeared and attacked it, the 262 accelerated to full speed to escape but it was too late the impacts damaged its engines which did not respond effectively, the allies attacked the Me 262 when they were about to make a landing or take off.
WeII, the airfieIds wouId have aIerted the 262 piIot and the AA guns wouId deter the US fighter

Well war thunder is kinda a better game but i say kinda cuz this game is a simulator game while war thunder in the other hand is an arcade type game
Dammit Battlefield 5! The developers gave up on it so fast. WW2 has so much content to offer for DICE but instead we got mostly maps based off locations that no one has ever heard of. No Russians either. Waste of great graphics and FPS gameplay with the most unWW2 game to date.

Nah, the Stuka was a better plane than the Sturmovik.
Nah, Stuka its a slow 1936 plane, Sturmovik was faster and modern, 1941.

Only till ~1943 when Russians killed most of the German aces and got air superiority. Stalingrad was the last battle where Germans managed to rule Soviet sky.

obviously this leans on the russian side, but A, if Stuka's came under attack by just about any fighter they would have trouble with it and lose planes, B while BF-109's were good planes (and i personally do not like the LaGG-3) These models have similar enough performance characteristics that a LaGG could put up a reasonable fight and even win against 109's plus it was a 2-1 fight which put the 109 at a major disadvantage, and C The IL-2 is more than enough of a match for a German train.
