when Jacky talks, Ronnie and Ryan look like proud dads in a way. they smile and laugh at his tiny jokes and make him feel welcome and that is adorable

47:12 - the kid in the green beanie asking how they got their name met Ronnie Radke at a pre-warped tour party a few months later. Ronnie remembered him, talked to the kid for 20 minutes about playing piano and music. That kid was totally inspired by how kind Ronnie was to him (after all the nasty rumors about the dude) and now he's a wicked musician himself. He's outgrown FiR and no longer listens to them much but this was a great memory he has and the encounter with Ronnie a few months later was even cooler. Thank you, Musicians Institute, for inspiring my son. You'll be seeing him as a student in a couple years.

@@actuallyNo... He circled back to the metal he loves and FiR and BVB are two of his favorites. He is 16 now, will be 17 this Autumn, and he plays guitar, keyboard, wants to learn drum and bass too eventually. Hopes to get an online lesson from Jacky Vincent one day. :) He's doing well, you can follow him on instagram @caleb_guitarist

that's when I come in with my question. one of the greatest nights of my life to this day. and I have a picture of me with jacky from when the whole thing ended, and honestly, remembering this makes me realize just how lucky I am to live in California

I love watching this. I was there I was the guy that got to ask the first question and how it ends that's me getting my vest signed. Ronnie told me to shut up mad respect for the dude. Glad I had this experience. Motivation at it's finest.
Hearing Ronnie talking about Blink 182, my other favourite band (and particularly Tom Delonge) just fills my heart with such happiness.
I love the fact that they keeped the part when Jacky say that he sold 1 album and points to my album and me xD omg I miss that day, Jacky noticed me for real❤️😭

The part when they were talking about the people sitting with their arms crossed for BVB was how I started out watching this interview...I like their music, but didn't really know/understand the band as a whole. At the end though, I learned a lot and see them in a different light. Great interview and looking forward to seeing them on Warped this year!

It seems you me that it wasn't long after this interview that everything shifted. Jackie, Ryan left the group. Derek sadly passed away, such a devastating story.
The music they made as this group was fantastic. Moving forward all members of FIR with exception of the base player who strangely enough is sitting off to the side of this stage are new. I believe Derek would still be in the band if not for tragic events. Ronnie is lucky to have had this amazing group and has still be able to achieve great success with new members. It's sad that the only members that get any attention are Tom Holland on drums and again very rarely the base player. I'm a fan regardless. Can't hate great music, Ronnie is lucky to have enough talent for nothing else to matter really.

Not a huge fan of falling in reverse, don't get me wrong I like a lot of their songs but jacky is the best guitar player I have ever heard!! He has just true talent!!!
Fun fact: I WENT to that tour with falling in reverse and Ghost town but I only went to see Ghost town and I LEFT after them because I didn't know falling in reverse back then lol. But it's all good cause I just saw them again on the rest In Space Tour
